[SCAR]
[spoken] I never thought hyenas essential
They're crude and unspeakably plain
But maybe they've a glimmer of potential
If allied to my vision and brain.

[sung] I know that your powers of retention
Are as wet as a warthog's backside
But thick as you are, pay attention
My words are a matter of pride

It's clear from your vacant expressions
The lights are not all on upstairs
But we're talking kings and successions
Even you can't be caught unawares

So prepare for a chance of a lifetime
Be prepared for sensational news
A shining new era
Is tiptoeing nearer

[SHENZI]
And where do we feature?

[SCAR]
Just listen to teacher
I know it sounds sordid
But you'll be rewarded
When at last I am given my dues!
And injustice deliciously squared
Be prepared!

[BANZAI]
[spoken] Yeah! Be prepared.
We'll be prepared. For what?

[SCAR]
[spoken] For the death of the king!

[BANZAI]
[spoken] Is he sick?

[SCAR]
[spoken] No, fool! We're going to kill him... and Simba too!

[SHENZI]
[spoken] Great idea! Who needs a king?

[BANZAI AND SHENZI]
[spoken] No king, No king, nah nah nah nah nah nah!

[SCAR]
[spoken] Idiots! There will be a king!

[BANZAI]
[spoken] But you said...

[SCAR]
[spoken] I will be king!
Stick with me, and you'll never be hungry again!

[BANZAI AND SHENZI]
[spoken] Yay, all right!
Long live the king!
Long live the king!

[HYENAS]
[sung] It's great that we'll soon be connected
With a king who'll be all-time adored

[SCAR]
Of course, quid pro quo, you're expected
To take certain duties on board
The future is littered with prizes
And though I'm the main addressee
The point that I must emphasize is
You won't get a sniff without me

[HYENAS]
So prepare for the coup of the century

[SCAR]

Be prepared for the murkiest scam
Meticulous planning
Tenacity spanning
Decades of denial
Is simply why I'll
Be king undisputed
Respected, saluted
And seen for the wonder I am

[HYENAS]
Ooooh!
We'll have food!
Lots of food
We repeat
Endless meat

[SCAR]
Yes my teeth and ambitions are bared

[SCAR AND HYENAS]
Be prepared!
Yes, our teeth and ambitions are bared
Be prepared!

And in my twisted face
There's not the slightest trace
Of anything that even hints of kindness
And from my tortured shape
No comfort, no escape
I see, but deep within is utter blindness
Hopeless
As my dream dies
As the time flies
Love a lost illusion
Helpless
Unforgiven
Cold and driven
To this sad conclusion
No beauty could move me
No goodness improve me
No power on earth, if I can't love her
No passion could reach me
No lesson could teach me
How I could have love her and made her love me too
If I can't love her, then who?
Long ago I should have seen
All the things I could have been
Careless and unthinking, I moved onward
No pain could be deeper
No life could be cheaper
No point anymore, if I can't love her
No spirit could win me
No hope left within me
Hope I could have loved her and that she'd set me free
But it's not to be
If I can't love her
Let the world be done with me.

Rupert Alexander Lloyd Grint[1] (born 24 August 1988) is an English actor best known for portraying Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films. In December 2007, Grint was ranked #16 in the list of Forbes top twenty earners under 25 with an annual earning of $4 million (US).

LOVE HIS FULL NAME :lovestruc

Early life
Grint was born in Harlow, Essex and grew up in Hertfordshire. His mother, Joanne Grint (née Parsons), is a housewife, and his father, Nigel Grint, is a memorabilia dealer.[2] He has one brother, James (born in 1990), and three sisters: Georgina (born in 1993), Samantha (born in 1996) and Charlotte (born in 1998). Before being cast in Harry Potter franchise, he had only appeared in plays for school and his local theatre group, Top Hat Stage School. As a young child, he was once cast as a fish in a play based on the story of Noah's Ark. He also played Rumpelstiltskin in another school play. As a child, he also used to voluntarily help out in his local church as a bellringer.[3]

He attended a Roman Catholic[4] primary school prior to enrolling at Richard Hale School, a boys' state comprehensive school in Hertford, the county town of Hertfordshire, followed by the Top Hat Stage School, also in Hertford.

Career

Grint in July 2009A fan of the Harry Potter book series, young Grint was interested in getting a role in the film. For his audition, he sent a video he made of himself, in which he dressed as his drama teacher while rapping about how much he wanted the part; Grint won the casting selection with the video. After completing the first Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, he appeared as science-whiz Alan A. Allen in the British film Thunderpants (2002) which neither received much attention nor did anything for Grint's career and holds a 3.0/10 user rating on IMDB. In 2002, 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2009 he again starred as Ron Weasley in the Potter sequels Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Grint also starred in the coming-of-age story Driving Lessons with Laura Linney and Julie Walters (who acted as his character's mother, Molly Weasley, in the Harry Potter movies), which was released in the summer of 2006. Grint got excellent reviews for his first leading role: the critics praised the realism he brought into the role of shy teenager Ben Marshall, as well as his "riotous comedic timing" and "fantastic screen chemistry" with Walters.

Also known for his radio and television voice-over work, he appeared as Nigel Molesworth in the Baggy Trousers series for BBC Radio 4[5] and voiced Peter Pan in a BBC documentary.

On 9 July 2007, Grint and fellow cast-mates Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson left imprints of their hands, feet and wands in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood.[6]

On 2 July 2008, it was announced that Grint would star in Cherrybomb, "a gritty thriller about two teenagers who get into trouble when they both fall for a beautiful new girl in town".[7] Filming was wrapped up in late August 2008; the film opened in the UK on 23 Apr 2010.[8]

In August 2008, it was announced that Grint is to star in comedy remake of 1993 French film Cible Emouvante, titled Wild Target, alongside Bill Nighy and Emily Blunt.[9] Grint's character is called Tony. The filming for Wild Target wrapped up on 27 September 2008 and opened in the UK on 18 June 2010.[10]

While directing Prisoner of Azkaban, director Alfonso Cuarón said Grint is "the likely future star out of the Hogwarts trio".[11]

He voiced Ron Weasley in the video game of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, as well as in the video game of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Rupert Grint was also praised by critics for his performance in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Michael McGuire, a writer for the Examiner, had this to say about him:

I appreciated Rupert Grint for the first time. To me, he’s always been “that other guy” in the Potter movies, but he truly steps forward in this edition and, if he keeps it up, he could be the one of the three getting the best parts a decade from now.

Rupert Grint appeared as the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car in Episode Three of Series Fifteen of Top Gear,[12] setting a lap new record[13] in the Kia Cee'd, although the record was broken two weeks later by both Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise.

Personal life
In July 2004, Grint finished Richard Hale School, taking his GCSE examinations. When not working, he enjoys learning to ride the unicycle, drawing/sketching, watching Tottenham Hotspur and playing golf. He has stated that, like the character he portrays, Ron Weasley, he has arachnophobia.[14]

Grint purchased an ice-cream van and then stated jokingly that if his career falls out after the end of the seven part series, then he'll still have the van. According to his co-star Emma Watson from her interview with Conan O'Brien, the van has all the toppings and such in it.[15][16]

In September 2007, Grint and his co-stars, along with David Heyman and David Yates, attended the National Movie Awards. He lost to his co-star Daniel Radcliffe for Best Actor.

Hair care company Brylcreem released a list of the best and worst male hairstyles of the celebrity world in 2007 putting Rupert Grint's haircut with the Top 5 Best Male Film Star haircuts and his co-star, Daniel Radcliffe, in the Top 5 Worst Male Film Star haircuts.[17]

Daniel Radcliffe stated in Empire magazine (August 2008) that although he and Emma Watson have had disagreements, it was impossible to fall out with Grint as he is "the most laid back guy in the world."

Grint stated in an interview that he once woke up in a graveyard after getting extremely drunk the night before. He went on to say that he considers himself and cast mates Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe 'lucky' to have escaped the more serious problems that often plague child stars.[18] All three have often said of their friendship as 'more like siblings', having known each other from an early age, and they will be friends for years to come.

History
Humongous Entertainment, the predecessor of Humongous, Inc., was formed in 1992 by CEO Shelley Day and Creative Director Ron Gilbert. It became known for point-and-click adventure games intended for young children, such as the Putt-Putt series, the Fatty Bear series, and the Pajama Sam, Freddi Fish and Spy Fox franchises. Ron Gilbert - Humongous Entertainment's co-founder and main game designer - helped with many of the game planning and creation stages. These games were all available for Windows and Mac - earlier titles were available on DOS too. Three early titles were also available for the ill-fated 3DO Interactive Multiplayer video game console.

In 1996, Humongous Entertainment created the first Backyard Sports title: Backyard Baseball. This was arguably their most popular game in the series, but also produced variants such as Backyard Football, Backyard Soccer and Backyard Hockey. The series started with having the Backyard Kids as players, but the addition of professional athletes as kids were added to the games. Unlike its other titles, the Backyard Sports series became available for consoles (Nintendo GameCube, Wii, PlayStation 2, and Game Boy Advance) as well as Windows and Macintosh.

The One-Stop Fun Shops were created for Windows in 2000, one title each for Putt-Putt, Pajama Sam, and Freddi Fish.

Humongous Entertainment has also released several games featuring Big Thinkers and Blue's Clues characters. In 2002, Humongous Entertainment released the turn-based strategy game Moonbase Commander with very little fanfare. The game was sold at a budget price, but was well received by game review sites. Moonbase Commander eventually won IGN's "Best of 2002: The One No One Played" and Gamespot's "Best Game Not Played on PC for 2002".

Through its Cavedog sub-division, Humongous Entertainment also released Total Annihilation, a real-time strategy (RTS) game in 1997. This was followed by two expansion packs, and in 1999 a variation called Total Annihilation: Kingdoms and an expansion pack for it too.

In July 1996, Humongous Entertainment was purchased by GT Interactive for $76 million[1]. GT Interactive was indirectly purchased by Infogrames Entertainment SA (France) and renamed to Infogrames, Inc. After Infogrames, Inc purchased Hasbro Interactive - which owned the rights to use the Atari name - in November 1999, Infogrames, Inc was renamed again to Atari, Inc.

In mid-2000, the co-founders tried to buy Humongous Entertainment back from Infogrames using external funding, but the day of the planned purchase was the day of the 2000 tech stock crash and the funding was pulled. The founders left soon afterwards, as did many of the key employees that had created the company series and technology. They formed a new company Hulabee Entertainment in 2001.

Atari laid off most people from its subsidiary Humongous Entertainment in mid-2001.[2] and the company was eventually shut down completely a few years later.

A new company, Humongous, Inc., was started up in the same building, but with only 3-5 of the ex-Humongous Entertainment employees, and run out of California. Game development was all done out-of-house. In 2005, Infogrames Entertainment bought Humongous from Atari for $10.3 million.[citation needed] Atari retained exclusive distribution rights for Humongous products in the US, Canada, and Mexico through at least March 31, 2006. Humongous, Inc now oversees development of new entries in the popular Backyard Sports series.

The name Humongous Entertainment was suggested by Gilbert's ex-LucasArts colleague, Tim Schafer.[3]

Many of the Windows/Mac/DOS Humongous games can be played on platforms such as Linux by using ScummVM, and ScummVM may also work better than Classic emulation mode for users of Mac OS X who have old copies of the game made for earlier versions of Mac OS.

The Putt-Putt series is a collection of children's adventure and puzzle computer games created by Humongous Entertainment. They primarily involve clicking to get to a destination, although some sub-quests and mini-games involve the keyboard. The titular character, Putt-Putt, a purple anthropomorphic car, and his pet dog, Pepper (Pep), travel to various locations.

History
Putt-Putt was originally created by Shelley Day as a series of bedtime stories for her son, Travis; the first story involved Putt-Putt saving a cat caught in a tree.[1] When Humongous Entertainment was founded in 1992, Putt-Putt Joins the Parade became both the first Humongous release and the first Putt-Putt game. Child actor Jason Ellefson did Putt-Putt's voice for the first four of the games.
