All ratings on scale of 1-10 (10 being best). We were on the dining plan...and never were hungry! We had lots of food!!

Cast of Raters:
Cor <--brother, extremely picky, 12 going on 4. Need I say more? Oh-he was determined to try everything with Alcohol in it...not to drink to eat!
Mom <--mom, loves ethnic food, good chocolate and iced tea.
Dad <--dad, loves MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAT! Great cook. Knows his ingredients.
Jen <--me!! Loves her a slice of cheesecake, drank enough lemonade to flood a small city and went kind of Burger Crazy

Day 1:
TJ Cinnamons at the Toledo Airport. Awesome, but not Cinnabon. My mission was to find a Cinnabon even if I had to camp out in line for one!

McDonalds in the Chicago Ohare Airport. Typical McDonalds.

Dinner at Disney: POP Food Court

1-Hot dog and fries (9.999<--my brother's meal and he is like, in the Pickiest People of 2005 Top Ten ;) )
1-Double cheeseburger and fries (6...a burger and fries is hard to screw up)<--mine
1-Cheesesteak Wrap and fries ("good" a 5 <--my dad)
1-Penne with Meatball and Breadstick (7, my mom's)
2-Tie-dyed Cheesecakes (thorough disappointment, 2 and 3. Mom and I didn't like the cakey layer on the bottom!)
1-Chocolate Smarshmallow Cheesecake (okay, about a 3 from my dad)
1-Mickey Bar (Cor {my brother} loved it! 9)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tuesday (12-13)
Pop Food Court breakfast
2-Pancake platters (8, and 5 respectively. I can get better at IHOP! my brother gave it an eight...and the other number's mine)
1-Veggie Fritatta <--sp? (9, but "Very Veggie-if you don't Really Love Vegetables then don't order)
1-Adult Breakfast Platter (6-ish)
Lunch: Tangierine Cafe:
2-Chicken Shawarma platters (absolutely delish!! 10 and 8...mom gave it a 10! She went to Morocco and Spain for a year and reminded her strongly of those places)
1-Meatball Platter (Cor said it was OK but would get a pizza or burger next time! We applaud him for trying though!)
1-Lamb Sandwich (5, dad. He was disappointed. They smothered "chicken" in cucumber sauce. It was okay...for then)
Dinner: Rose and Crown Dining Room
Apps:
2-Potato and Leek Soups (phenominal. Cor gave it a 7 and I gave it a 9!!)
1-Fruit and Cheese plate. (mom loved it. 7)
1-Salad with mustard vinagrette (there was too much something in his salad dressing)
1 Cottage Pie (10!! I loved it! There were cooked carrots in it...and I ate almost all of it!)
1 Guiness Beef Stew (Cor's choice. Thoroughly disappointed, so he snacked on the rest of our entrees -2384 was his rating....more like a 2, but I like typing numbers and exaggerating)
2 Steak meals (delish and *mmphf* <--mom with her mouth full!! 9 and 7 respectively)
1 dessert sampler. Apple thing was best, but I liked the toffee pudding.
AND one VIP seating for IllumiNations!
Days later coming up
Day Three-
Crystal Palace breakfast. This was my mom's favorite breakfast.
Buffet!!!
Among foods sampled: fruit, bagels, waffles, hash, eggs, two kinds of potatoes, cereal and the much hyped Breakfast Lasagna. Not to be gross but we didn't like it and we thought it looked like throwup. Sorry and TMI!
Lunch at Pecos Bills for me...
1 double cheeseburger meal with fries and a PB brownie mousse which I promptly gave away. I hate chocolate!!! (It was good. 8)
Dinner:
WCC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had Dave the Medicine Man. Cor and I are proud members of the Ketchup Patrol, which is diligently practiced around our house.
Appetizers:
3 salads (I like more dressing, but nobody else cared) 5, 7, and 6.
Cor ordered the wings. He says he could get better at B-Dubs. Oh well. :p 8.
We had 2 skillets (dad and I: we couldn't get enough ribs, mashed potatoes and pulled pork!) No cornbread. That was sad. A pair of 9's here!
Mom got the grouper. She snuck bites from the skillet though. Dave remarked "Did you taste any of that as you inhaled it?" 5
Cor got the White-wine Chicken and Pasta dish thing. I warned you earlier...he was heck-bent on trying everything with an alcohol in the name! And he is only 12...ay yi yi! He didn't even eat any and finished his "B-Dubs are better" wings! 1
No dessert! Too much good food already.
Day Four (three since touchdown at OIA):
POP breakfast.
2-Adult Breakfast platters (okay and another *mmphf*) 3 and 4
2-Pop Waffles (yum-o! Waffles, we lub you!) 9 and 8.99
So what if I like adding decimals?
Lunch at 50's!! It made my mom homesick for her mom's house. I huggled her.
Appetizers:
2-Herb Fried Cheeses (delish!! 8 and 8...dad and I), one chicken noodle soup (7, mom) and one Beer Battered Onion Rings (guess who?! 8).
1-grilled chicken sandwich (Cor-he was thoroughly upset that he couldn't get a cheeseburger and gave me meanie eyes through the whole meal. 2)
1-fried chicken (me!!! 8. I did get green beans flown into my mouth!)
1-tuna plate (dad. Thought the dressing combo-oranges and veggies and tuna-was a good kind of strange. 6)
1-stacked sandwich (8. Mom liked it but I ate most of it)
No dessert because we couldn't finish lunch
And two Bee Bop drinks!
Dinner at Chef Mickeys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!
Buffet: among tried were the Mickey cheese ravioli, tandoori salmon, chicken strips, pizza, mashed potatoes, chicken, prime rib, ham, salads, soups, Mickey-Roni and cheese, and the broccoli with feta. A winner.
Next two days (I'm confusing myself with the dates! Sorry!)
Pop Breakfast:
Cereal, toast and fruit from a fruit basket. Good ratings all around. I mean, you CANNOT screw that all!
Lunch:
LTT!
Limited menu-I liked the kids menu better than the adult's one.
Three soups (2 chilis and another kind...all 5's)
One cheese sticks order (8!! Yum! I loved every bite and didn't share!)
2-types of Old Glory burgers (two decent ratings. Dad: 5 and Cor: 4)
1-Tri Corner (good! The slaw on it was weird! I gave it an 8)
1-Sandwich heard around the world (Okay. Just okay. Mom said mine looked better. 4)
1 Caramel Apple Tart for Dessert. No rating but he didn't share either. It was Dad's!
Dinner was at Le Cellier.
We felt this meal was among the lower score placement of all the meals we ate. Cor did get a kids meal, though, so all meanie eyes were avoided except when I poked him with my fork because he was talking at his Game Boy. Nutty kid.
Appetizers:
4 cheddar cheese soups. I didn't like it-felt grainy in my mouth. I'm a texture eater though and so is my mom. Average of 4.
Breads were delicious though!! Cor wolfed down a multigrain and a sourdough breadstick before everyone else.
I got the Free Range chicken (very bland chicken! But dad's a great cook and am used to more Kicked Up foods, 5). Cor got a hot dog and corn (8). Mom and Dad got steaks (9s.). Mashed potatoes were delish!
One dessert platter (mom and I split; maple creme brulee and the sorbet were fantastic!!). 2 Smores. Cor didn't like his Smores so he got the Chocolate Whiskey Cake and proclaimed it delicious!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We had the same breakfast we did yesterday (not the exact same!! Cereal, fruit and toast).

Lunch was at Flame Tree. Cor of course got a burger and fries from Restaurantasauras (sp?). It was "good". About a 6.

2-rib meals (chewy ribs, but AWESOME!) (8 and 6)
1-pork sandwich (the best pork sandwich I have ever eaten. The beans were good too!) meal (15)
2 key lime pies and a chocolate cake (3, 3, and 6)
Onion rings (*uck* "the grease was too old" proclaimed dad)
Fries (DELICIOUS!!!!)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dinner was supposed to be at Boma's but we ran out of TS credits. :guilty: :guilty:
So we had Cosmic Rays!! Very busy!
2-cheeseburger meals (I made mine a double with bacon!! And the fixin bar rocks! Mom's was a single) (8 and a 10)
2-chicken strips (very good. 9 and 8)
Chocolate desserts all around.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next Day was DOWNTOWN DISNEY
In room breakfast (cereal toast fruit)
Lunch was at earl of sandwich.
1-Hawaiian BBQ (1)
1-Scudetto split halvsies (20 and another 20 on a scale of 10! Super good. Dad shared with Cor because Cor hated his ham and barbecue sauce and pineapple sandwich. Good job Cor!)
1-Beef n Bleu (mom loves blue cheese! 20)
1-Full Montagu. Mine was the best of all. And no I didn't share! Are you kidding me?!
3 tomato soups (okay. about a 7 each)
2 bags chips (super yum!)
Dinner was at Rosie's in MGM.
3 double cheeseburgers meals, one chicken strips. 3 apple pies and one chocolate cake. Average score was about a 6.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We still had about 20 snacks left unused. Oh well!!

Any questions feel free to ask.

Enjoyed reading your reviews ~ Thanx for posting.

I don't think I have ever met anyone who hated chocolate! You're so lucky, I wish I did... Anyway, great reviews. Very funny. I was 12 once too! Also, I must agree with your assessment of 50's PT's fried cheese- it was my favorite thing I ate all week! :cloud9:

Very good reviews. I think I really enjoyed reading them from a "kids" perspective.

Mine is 3 years younger than me, so when he was 12, and I was 15 we did our first trip to Disney (it was ONLY the MK at the time, with a book of tickets for the rides......I guess I am dating myself!!! :rolleyes: )

But anyway..... I loved your reviews, we are going in 6 weeks and are eating at some of the same places.....rose & Crown (just the 2 boys), Le Cellier.

Thanks for posting, and for being so witty!! ;)

Thanks!

Did I mention that on our Leaving Day, I got my Cinnabon!!!!!!! I was so happy. We have that immortalized on video. Except for Cor tried to shove the box in my mouth..."flippin' idiot!" But I still love him.

Minniespal-Thanks!!

3p4us-I know. I tried to sneak some back but the only possible carrying place was my mouth. It didn't last long. The herb cheese was YUM! It makes my mouth water-hold on...need to clean up the keyboard...

Okay. That's better. Thanks!

Kelleigh-Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I think I might actually kick myself into gear and scribble out a trip report. I might actually do that.
