  • We arrived on 7/2 on time with a great flight via US Airways.
  • Magical Express got us to our hotel and all of our luggage arrived safe and sound. The only downside was waiting for the bus to fill up with passengers at the airport because we had an antsy, screaming 20 mo. old, but we survived.
  • Used Disney Dining for our entire trip and had LOTS of credits remaining.
  • Ate at Mama Melrose for the fantasmic package on 7/2 and was able to use TS credits
  • Avoided EMH hours and had little wait for most rides.
  • Made use of Baby Swap to really beat the heat in lines with the kids. This was wonderful!
  • Enjoyed fireworks on 7/4 from the beach of the Poly. It was a spectacular view. We were right in place for the electric water parade that followed.
  • Had wonderful sit down meals at Concourse Steakhouse, Le Cellier, Sci Fi, MM (as I said above), Donald's Breakfastosaurus, CRT. Character meals are a MUST if you want to get autographs/photos when it is crowded in the parks.
  • Got EVERY request that I asked for at ASMO (connecting rooms, Toy Story bldg, fridge, 1st floor) I faxed my request 4 days out and again 24 hrs out. I also checked (and re-checked) that CRO had them. If you change any part of your package, please recheck your requests. Their system has a glitch that erases them if the CRO agent doesn't click the right button. Learned this the hard way!
  • Had quite a few magical moments. Pluto leaned over and kissed DNeice during Spectro...she was mesmerized and in love with pluto from that moment on. DS3 was "challenged" with some poses by the White Ranger during Stars and Cars at MGM. He was surprised but thought it was the coolest thing ever and kept walking around the park saying he was a Power Ranger!
  • We had a few bad moments too... I shipped a box via USPS ahead of time with necessities (diapers, swim diapers, snacks, juice boxes, etc) and it was damaged in transit. They reassembled it, but our contents were mixed with someone else's. DS1's diapers were all missing as were the snacks and juices. We did get someone's shoe though :goodvibes FYI- the largest diapers in ALL of WDW is Huggies Size 4 (I checked Baby Care centers and gift shops). DS wears size 6. So, we had quite a few accidents as a result of this mishap. Also, the only pull ups they have in the hotels and baby centers is 3T-4T.
  • Some unexpected "bumps" in the road...DS1 fell off a bench at MK and cut his nose and bruised his forehead pretty badly. DS3 got sick at MGM on our last night there and we had to miss Wishes.
  • Flight home was awful. I will never fly Airtran again. DIRTY plane with garbage all over...in the seat pockets, on the floor. They were 20 min late and then stuck on the runway for over an hour due to weather (not their fault but still aggravating). DS1 was asleep on my lap and Airtran has NO pillows. They didn't even offer a rolled up blanket.
  • Here's something to LOL about... DS3 thought we moved to WDW. When we said it was time to come home he was in tears. I am already starting to think about our next trip and DH is considering DVC!

Thanks for the info. I hope that your DS feels better.

We are going in Aug, have the dining package and have booked the Concourse. How did you like it? I have heard conflicting reports because of how open it is and the fact that it is right next to Chef Mickey.

How fun! I was on the beach at the Poly on July 4th, too! We stayed at ASMu - I'm sure we rode the bus together! Glad you had a good time - except for those minor mishaps - we certainly did!

We enjoyed the Concourse. I don't know if you have any children in your party, but it was a little distracting for them to hear Chef Mickey's. I didn't mind the noise...there was noise from Chef Mickey's, the sky lounge (I think it is called) which is across from Concourse, and the monorail. My son liked having the job of letting us know when the monorail was approaching. It kept him busy.

The food was great. The bill was about $280 for 5 adults and 2 children. Of that, I think we had to pay for a cappucino and 2 alcoholic beverages.

Wasn't it amazing to see the fireworks from the Poly? I loved it! We probably did ride the bus together at some point. we had a large group with a big double stroller...always causing a scene with the clumsiness of it all. :rotfl:
