Today is one of those strange, quirky twists that can only be explained by the full moon.

What can it be, you ask?

Why, it's 50 Days until I am in WALT DISNEY WORLD!!!

And...

25 School Days Left!!!

Multiples of Five (and one is half of the other) -- it won't happen again! (I don't think).

In celebration of the 25/50 Day, I will post my DIS tags that I will be sporting in 7 weeks.

Charles has given up trying to figure out the DIS cult -- on the other hand, Chelsea was completely perplexed by the notion of the tags. I have tried explaining it without sounding completely whacked. Which to someone who isn't on the DIS is difficult. "Well, they are kind of like a way for DISers to identify other DISers ." It's completely out of Chelsea's realm of experience.

Have you worn your new Minnie Janes? I don't remember if you had them before your trip with in a pre-trip? I was just wondering if they were comfy and if you liked them.

I did have them, and I wore them a couple of times while we were there -- mainly around the resort, to the pool, and to TL. I liked them, and they were very comfy. I have to wear tennis shoes at the parks, though, because I need the ankle support when I am walking a lot.

A couple of weeks ago, Native NYer (Jen) posted on her PTR that she was thinking of buying the Hidden Mickeys book for her nephew and her. Well, since we had a extra, brand-new copy from my MIL, I sent it to her.

Today, we received a package from Jen filled with World of Disney New York Goodies as a thank you! They are soooo cool, and we have just been over-the-top excited about them all afternoon!

Connor also made a special Mickey head shaped piece of clay to stick on his forehead for the pictures.

We are definitely having fun with our new toys!!! We can't wait to write with our new pens tomorrow -- it will make going to school a little more fun!

Chelsea and Connor got very excited when they found out that there is a WoD in New York City -- so, now DH and I are talking about taking the kids to NYC (who knows when though) -- after all, everyone should see the Statue of Liberty once in their lifetime (and several other must-dos). I may get to go to a NYC DIS Meet yet!
