Harry: "Yeah...." He sat facing forward but his mind flashed back to Ana when they were in the Chamber of Secrets. Him finding out she was a fox animagus, watching her fight with tooth and claw, the basilisk's fang catching on her belly fur and throwing her against the wall, Adriana changing forms upon impact, then lying there for a bit and still managing to get up and help him kill the basilisk, getting a fang in the arm just like him, how they were both dying, how Fawkes cried onto Harry's arm and healed him but Adriana mostly died, the way Adriana's blood stained his clothes as he carried her mostly dead corpse, the way Ron's face had gone white when Harry and Ginny walked toward him, the way the three of them walked into Dumbledore's office and Dumbledore, McGonagall and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley had stared at them, Pomfrey using a risky combination of an overdose of Mandrake and an overdose of phoenix tears provide from Fawkes to bring her from mostly dead to alive..... he and Adriana had been through far too much that night.
