Reyna: she left her compartment and saw a few dememtors going close to some kids(OOC: Jack, Lark, Kairi, and Mallory). "EXPECTO PATRONUM!" she yelled, and her patronus burst into the air. The Dementors avoided the silvery cat that was chasing them.

Jack: He'd been cowering behind Lark. "A-are they gone?!" he gasped.

Lark: She started to come out of the cold, depressed mood, and went into strong-big-sister mode. Lark put her hand on Jack's shoulder. "They're all gone, and I swear that has NEVER happened, Jack."

Kairi: "Those... Those were /dementors/! I can't believe they'd let them on the train! I'm going to go try to find that girl who made that... Silvery... Thing." She walked out of the compartment after changing into her school robes, walking down the aisle, trying to find her before the train stopped.

She felt like her mind was being attacked, and like she'd never be happy ever again. Brendan and Zara: They whipped out their wands. Adriana: Upon the entrance of the dementor she stiffened, hearing voices, hearing her worst thoughts, nightmares and memories, and she lost focus on the world, going into shock. Hamilton: He saw dementors! He ran straight into Oliver's compartment and almost glued himsellf to his older brother's side, his eyes wide with fear and sadness and pain and memory. "Dementors. There are dementors on the train!" Fred: "Reyna, are you -" George: "-okay? Where's Ana?" Remus Lupin: Suddenly he was standing. "None of us are hiding Sirius Black under our cloaks. Be gone. EXPECTO PATRONUM!" He unleashed his patronus, banishing the dementor.

Minister Fudge: He received a letter from his daughter. Dementors shouldn't have attacked the train; they were sided with the ministry and no one else. He wrote back:

My dear Rose:

I'm sorry to hear there's been attacks. The ministry has everything under control, I can assure you. Dementors will not bother you without my consent. Do not worry, they will only be at the front doors.
(OOC: In case it isn't obvious, I hate him with a fiery passion) Watch out for that professor, dear. Some are not to be fully trusted. Have a fun year.

Rose: She read the owl through and sighed: it was only like him to reveal nothing. And what was about that professor? He'd seemed safe enough to her. "Sometimes I wonder..." she muttered to herself. Sometimes, when he was around, her father seemed unwise.
