The power of stalking

Does "Stalking" mean that you log in right when the system opens up? and then like every morning thereafter until you are able to get your perfect combo of resorts / days / room size /etc?

If so, nice work! I haven't tried it yet in 7 years of ownership, logging in that early, I'm picturing a moonlight magic sign up every morning, just waiting for the Que to end and get my eyes on that inventory :)

Stalking just mean checking the website site often. It doesn't mean a certain time. Availabilty can change by the minute. It all depends on other people cancelling there plans. I used to check 20 times a day on my phone while im at work plus more in the evening. Most people find it a hassle but i think its fun :) plus id rather stay at resorts i want than be stuck somewhere i dont want to be

The other odd thing, that has been covered in numerous threads compares stalking to waitlists. Member have had reservations on waitlists, found them available by stalking and made the reservation. All the while never hearing anything on the waitlist, which they subsequently cancelled. It appears cancelled rooms do not have to be cleared for availability by not being on any waitlist before appearing on the resort availability tool (RAT), instead rooms on the waitlist are periodically compared to updated availability. So using both methods is recommended.

Applaud everyone that has stalked to their dedication! Learned a new DVC / Timeshare term today :)
