The Postman Rang Twice - I Mailed/Received My Postcard Exchange

I think that I will post over on the UK boards about posting here whenever they receive their postcards if Nutsy hasn't already.

Ooohhhh, I wanna go back............... to my little grass shack............ in Hawaii!! I write this will doing the hula and mentally strumming an ukele!!!

Yes - Oh Happy Day!! I received mail today! And it was two wonderful postcards from LuvTigger in Hawaii! One was from Hanauma Bay in Oahu, Hawaii and the other one was a gorgeous rainbow over Diamond Head, an old volcanic crater.

I'm happy! But now I'm sad...... I wanna go to Hawaii, wah........

Oddball and I will be sending out our second round of cards early next week. We are still waiting also. No cards yet for either of us. We are patient people though!

Everyone has received what I have sent out...I have received my US Exchange, but haven't received my International ones yet...

Kirby, I have been telling most people to update the thread when they post off or receive their postcards, but Homer you're right, a lot of those in the exchange are not regulars on the boards & even my Pm's to them take forever to be picked up.

What else can we do guys??? And good ideas??


Those of us who are regulars thankfully keep the ball rolling & hopefully one day those who are not regulars will realise what they need to do.

I confess that I'm another International exchanger who didn't know about this thread!

Just reporting that I sent out my cards and have received one set of my exchanges back - two cards from FTWFAN in Alabama!

Here's hoping my exchange partners have received theirs (I'll have to read back through th thread!) and that I get the other set soon.

I love the name Etowah and the postmark being Chattanooga. I think that's been my favourite part of this exchange, all the wonderful exotic names - well they are to me!

I received a very nice letter and two postcards from Poohshoney in Germany today.

One is of the town of Manheim and the other is of Heidelburg Schloss and Altstadt - the Castle and old town. They are both very beautiful!
