went outside at 9 this morning and my pool is already reading 90 (I'm in texas) by the afternoon it'll be 94+....it stops feeling refreshing. I keep saying I am going to buy bags of ice and throw them in.
I dunno ... my pool at home is typically over 90F in the summer months ... it's just "normal" to me I guess. I just figure it's all relative. If the Pool is 90F and the outside air is 110+, it's still pretty refreshing. Besides, body temp is 98.6F, so you're still going to cool better in the pool than you would out on deck.

Just adding for the record SAB was 91 degrees 10 minutes ago (12:45PM).
Appears 91 is about average for a WDW pool in the summer.
In my perfect world if I could pick one year around temp it would 86.5 degrees. ASM felt very nice at 86 when it was 94 and humid and sunny and I know 87 would be great in the winter and 86 was very nice at BWV last spring.
I know exactly where you are coming from too! I was very disappointed when DVC emailed me back to say they were following Red Cross temperatures for their pools and that is why the lowered the pool temps to 78F last January.
We are going to give them 1 more try this December to heat the pools properly in the winter months.
If 91 is okay in the summer and in direct contradiction to what the RC recommends, then why do they say this in the winter months.
I will definitely take my meat thermometer to WDW this Dec!
