Sorry if this is the wrong place...

The Dis done a Universal edition of their podcasts last month, and the next is today. Do you know if the podcasts are broadcast live, or if they are recordings put up a later date?

Hi Paul,

The podcasts are recorded live and then edited to make them "listenable".

The content is not changed.

They are usually recorded a day or two prior to being posted.

Does that mean if they say the next podcast is on June 6th, this is the day it is recorded, or the day it is put on the site?

The podcast is usually out on Tuesday and if you hear a date mentioned, that is the date the show will be available.

In the past we have done special shows with release dates other than on a Tuesday.

Also, Pete had announced a date for the special 10th anniversary show and we ran into a rash of technical difficulties the day we tried to record it. The main system didnt work...the back up system didnt work...nothing worked. That show was delayed and Pete posted an announcement that it would be postponed until Corey and Julie returned from vacation.

The show was recorded today and will be available soon.
