Are the tables outside for use by those dining @ The Plaza? We made an ADR and wondering if we asked if we can sit outside - or if all table service is done inside only?

And I'm pretty sure they have windows if I remember correctly, but can you see the parade or show on the stage from inside the restaurant?

Unfortunately the last time we ate there (outside of getting ice cream) was 2006 but we were served everything outside then.

The tables that are outside the Plaza restaurant are for the ice cream parlor. There are no outside tables for table service dining.

Honestly, there are Windows and if you are lucky you might be able to see. Most of thectime, people outside will be,standing in that area to watch the stage shows. The parade runs down Main Street. The area you are referring to doesn t allow much of a view of the parade.

Darn was hoping to book it for MNSSHP and not only take a short break and not have to battle counter service places for a seat and meal, but maybe get in a view of the on-stage show or BTY parade.

You can enter the park at 4 on a v Halloween party night, with just the special even ticket. While it is "supposed" to be limited tickets sold, we have found the parks to be very crowded. We actually went August, 2017 and August, 2018.

If you are interested in eating I would suggest going early and grab something. (We enjoy Columbia Harbor House and Peco Bill's quick service). The hours of the party will go by quickly. If you are interested in the rides, you might not have much of a wait. For candy, characters, show, parade and fireworks expect lines and people "shoulder to shoulder".

Yes we've gone in years past as well and the crowds have only gotten worse from each year we've gone, yet here we are doing the same party. We do have an earlier lunch planned already @ BOG, but I figured by the end of the night we'll want another bite and hope it gives us second wind, because after the party we're not going to get much sleep as we'll be DHS bound for EEMH the next day. :scared:

Here is a tip if you get into park early and still want to eat at the Plaza. Try to get an ADR around 3:30, and ask to be seated in the gazebo type section. That is right at the end of the pathway they send party guests down when they enter the park so you can see everyone in their costumes. We had a great time seeing all the families come through there.

They stopped advertising the parties as having lower crowds when they expanded the hub. It’s still limited because they do put a cap on the number of tickets sold, but it’s no longer low crowds. Capacity increased with the hub expansion. If they’d just add a lot more characters and have more of them start meeting at 4 to accommodate the increased number of tickets being sold, that would eliminate one issue.

He have an ADR at the Plaza on MNSSHP night (which we have tickets for). I thought it was a light enough meal we wouldnt be stuffed walking around for 6 hours after. My favorite viewing place for the BTY parade is outside of LTT....but the meal is so heavy, I want to nap after :)

Indoor only.
Very few window tables.
No view of stage.
Angled minimal view of parade from a few.
Outside tables and umbrellas plus
all the people who will be standing
for parade will likely block all views.

Nice break and inexpensive option for a meal but not a good choice for any kind of view other than maybe some high fireworks but not if they are important to see since odds of window table are low.

As others have said the tables are not part of the restaurant, but when I was there in May they had set up 4 or 5 tables right in front of the restaurant windows. Not sure if it was permanent or not, but it was an option as of 2 months ago. That said there is little to see from there outside of the castle and throngs of people walking by.
