I would like to know if the Plaza has a counter service as well as a sit down? Also how is the food? Thanks in advance.

I'm 99% sure it's just 'sit-down'.

The food is really very, very good. We were there for the first time in June and it's now on our "restaurants we must visit during every trip" list!!

Yes, it is table service only. We enjoy the food and it used to be a must do but the food has come out very slowly the last couple of times we've had lunch there. :confused3 The sandwiches and salads are very good and my milkshake lovers are happy there.

There are some tables across from the entrance. People take their meals from Casey's, the Bakery or the ice cream shop and sit there.

Where is it? I've been to MK 4 times and I can't remember seeing it.

If you are heading toward the castle it is at the end of Main Street to the right as if you were taking the "short cut" to Tomorrowland. There are several tables outside with yellow and white table umbrellas.

We love the Plaza and try to eat there every trip. The food is not anything particularly "special" but it is good and fresh and a little healthier than some of the other choices you have at the CS locations, if that's the way you want to go.

It is a nice break at mid-day for lunch, and is really a rather charming place to eat.:)

No, the food isn't anything special. But, it's great for a lunch, being able to relax in the a/c, and be waited on! ;) The last time we were there, I had the reuben & banana split, and they were awesome!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Just as an FYI...the restaurant is considered table service so it would take a TS dining credit, but the prices are more in line with CS restaurants. It's a better value for this one to pay OOP and use that dining credit on something else :)

It is at the end of Main Street :)
