The Plaza Restaurant?

How is The Plaza for a dinner while at Magic Kingdom?

We aren't looking for gourmet here, but I do like my french fries....

We have never eaten table service at MK, and we would be paying this out of pocket.

Thoughts? Other suggestions?

We've eaten there twice and enjoyed our meals both times. The last time I was there I had the tuna sandwich and I thought it was very good. I ordered it with broccoli slaw that didn't have enough flavour for my taste buds, but I did sneak a few fries from my son's plate and I thought they were good. It is a good meal to pay out of pocket for.

The Plaza is primarily a nice sandwich/ice cream shop. I think there is one meatloaf entree, but it is basically soup, sandwich and salads. Lots of folks say it has the best french fries in the world.
If this is what you are looking for, it is a pleasant meal and reasonably priced.

I agree... I love the Plaza.
Simple. Friendly and consistent.

I generally forego the fries, though - I'm a Strawberry-Chicken salad girl.
Sounds weird, I know, but it is totally one of my favorite meals anywhere in WDW - that and a "bottomless" iced tea are a pleasant meal on any MK day.

We love Plaza Restaurant. The food has always been good and we really like the location.

We have eaten here several times and enjoy the food and rest break. It is by far the most affordable out of pocket table service at the MK. I think you will enjoy it.

Last time me and DH had a mint choc chip milkshake each and when we got the bottom of the glass there was about 2 inches of chocolate chips....it was wonderful!

It's a nice little hidden gem (well, maybe not so much anymore as they do get pretty booked during busier times) but it is what everyone has described it to be...an inexpensive and simple eatery but with pretty good food. I usually order their vegetarian sandwich which has been consistently good. Feel free to check out one of my reviews on our experience.
