The Plaza restaurant - no reservations after 1/5/14

Does anyone know about this? I cannot get any reservations to come up for The Plaza after 1/5/14. Of course, we were wanting to go on 1/7, but does anyone know if it is closing for a refurb or anything?
 
I'm having the same problem. :sad2:

When I called WDW-DINE, the CM couldn't figure it out either - in fact, it crashed his computer. He could see that no tables had been entered into the system, but did not know why... Could be a rehab is in the works.
 
I got told they are closing for a refurb after January 5th for the month of January by a CM when I called.
 

Aha. I had the same question. I showed my husband that we were able to make reservations for our trip, and was lobbying for doing our planning on the early side since tables tend to go away. I logged on and tried to use the Plaza as an example.

When it came up with no tables for lunch or dinner, his eyes widened and he said, "wow... We better get moving!" Glad it's not so bad, hahaha!
 
I was having that problem for the past week (me & my boyfriend leave January 8th :cool1:) but I did end up getting a reservation for January 12th. Hopefully this helps!

Thank you so much! Awesome! Glad the CM I talked to was wrong haha. Crazy how behind Disney was on loading January this year. Lots of "quirks" with the system.
 
I am ther Jan 2 - 12, and had to fit it in early in our trip since it looked like they were not open after the 4th.

I too was happy yesterday when playing with my ADRs (for the millionth time) :rotfl2: that I now see openings for the rest of my trip. Hmmm, should I go twice? I do love the food there!!!!!!

Haha no problem! Hope you get a reservation. I've never eaten there before so it'll be an experience
 
I had the same problem in the past. It usually means that the dates have not been loaded in yet.
