The Plaza restaurant - lunch and dinner?

I know that the Plaza at DL does a character breakfast. Does it do a non-character lunch and/or dinner? Is it a buffet? Thanks!

The lkast times I was there for lunch and Dinner there were no characters and I have not read that they have added them. It is not a buffet. They have a salad and desert station adn then a staion where you can get fired chicken or pot roast and a pasta station with one kind of pasta an two - three kinds of sauce. Then there is a drink station. You go get what you want on a tray and then pay on the way inot the seating area. I have always liked the food here and the interior dining area is nice.

If you aren't a big eater this is definitely a good place to split meals, the portions are enormous!

This is very true! The fried chicken meal for example has three pieces of chicken plus green beans, mashed potatoes and a biscuit. I believe this restaurant and Redd Rockets are referred to as "buffeterias". Meaning you serve yourself but it is not all you can eat. The Plaza Inn is very good by the way with a wonderful atmosphere. A cm who worked there told me this was decorated by Walt's wife Lillian and that he (Walt) was very fond and proud of this restaurant.

We love the Plaza! DH thinks the Cobb salad is out of this world, and I love the pasta. It's true, though, think about sharing, as the portions are out of control huge! No characters for lunch or dinner unless you have reserved a birthday party.
