We are looking to try a new TS in MK for dinner......Plaza or LTT? LTT seems to be a very "heavy" meal for touring, but this will be the meal we eat before MNSSHP, so we would need a bigger meal i guess. Plaza just seems like such a waste of a TS credit thought.......$15 for a sandwich and fries??? the reviews are not that great, but we'd go for the desserts more than anything i guess.

So neither really is a clear winner.....which would you prefer?

Thanks
Jennifer

Honestly I heard SOOOOO many great things about the plaza. Im bummed that i didnt get a chance to try it last trip. Apparently they have the best fries in all of disney!! I'd definitely think this place is worth trying.
However I have been to Liberty Tree for dinner....I loooove their thanksgiving style feast. (all you can eat!). ITS SOOOOO YUMMY! Turkey, ham, beef, mashed pot, stuffing, gravy, mac n' cheese, etc!!! I also heard their lunch (you order from the menu) is fantastic!! You cant go wrong with either place. Just depends on which menu appeals to you more!! :thumbsup2

I would agree that you'll probably like both places, and it really depends on what type of food you'd be more interested in..

We ate at LTT for dinner our first night of our last trip it was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!

I have 2 boys, 11 and 9 and they LOVED IT..and my DH and I LOVED IT!

it was very fresh, and hot and a good hearty meal...

we also ate there again on our last day for lunch - and I got the Pilgrim's Feast - which is the single-serving turkey dinner "do-over" and it was DELICIOUS once again...

We have also eaten at The Plaza and had good sammies there too - but it really depends on what you want that night..

to me The Plaza had good food, but it was a "sammie and fries" meal - just like I would have or could have or did eat just about anywhere while in WDW, and LTT had more a "sit down family meal"...I mean, if I can get green beans AND a salad in the same meal, Im good to go!! :thumbsup2

But, they're both tasty - good luck deciding!!

We ate at the Plaza on our last trip, and while the food was fine, I felt like it was a complete waste of our dining credits. Because it's just a sandwich shop, and their prices aren't much more than those for CS. I would much rather use a TS credit at LTT, either for lunch or dinner.

I haven't eaten at either restaurant but thought I'd post my views on our plans for our next trip as perspective! CP is the only MK TS restaurant our family has tried up to this point and I am determined to check out the rest in good time.

I wouldn't use dining credits on the Plaza. You can get the same ice cream next door at the Main Street Ice Cream Parlor with snack credits and I just don't think the sandwich and fries is a good value on the dining plan.

Although one usually associates a big turkey dinner with all the trimmings as a "Thanksgiving feast" it doesn't mean the meal itself HAS to be heavy. If you're watching how much you pile onto your plate, you can still have a really great meal without feeling the after dinner bloat often associated with it.

On our family's next trip we will be eating dinner at LTT if we get the dining plan and will do the Plaza if we are paying for our food OOP as it's one of the less expensive places to eat. To us, it comes down to value and that's what we use to justify our ADR choices and we haven't been disappointed so far.

HTH and good luck with your decision! :thumbsup2

We really like LTT yes a little heavy but we enjoy it we really like their lunch to. How about going for a late lunch at LTT

Ltt is great for the turkey dinner fan! We loved it, but it was a bit loud. Not much privacy in this restaurant.

stayhomemom77 that is a very good point.....we are only going to do the DDP if free dining is offered soon. if not we'll stay with QSDP and we can try Plaza oop.

I think we'll try out LTT for our TS credit. I'm trying to stear the kids away from hotdogs and fries for 2x a day for 7 days, and Ds LOVES mashed potatoes, so I think LTT would be a good meal for us.

thanks!

Excellent point!!!! :thumbsup2

Its true that kids mostly eat hotdogs, fries, burgers while at disney.....therefore LTT is a nice change. Everything about their feast is yummy, even their green beans! And im not a huge veggie fan! Lol!
