being an engineer I am still trying to figure out how the g-forces were generated so any information/insight would be appreciated.

What I am trying to figure out is what is the orientation of the capsule relative to the direction of spin (i.e. facing the center of the centrifuge or the direction of motion).

From what I could see, when the capsule tilts back and the centrifuge starts turning the forces should throw me to the top of the capsule not push me into the seat as happens. I didn't sense the capsule turning into the direction of motion (it didn't seem to have the mechanism to do so) as it tilted back.

TIA

This links seems to show the ride mechanism. So when the capsule tilts back at launch your feet are facing the center of the centrifuge. So as it spins it should want to throw you to the top of the capsule not push you into the seat.

Any ideas
