I've been looking for the right Disney/DVC watch for a while now and was excited when I heard about the current DVC....until I found out it wasn't water-resistant...which for me is a "must have feature" mainly b/c of my three darling kids.

If I could build the perfect DVC watch it would have the following features:

water resistant
date
glow in the dark numbers

With traveling and visiting parks I'm pretty sure these features would come in handy and produce a "hot" selling product.

Almost forgot...cool DVC logo on the face....maybe someone in Merchanding will read this ;)

Are we absolutely sure these watches are not water-resistant?

Still waiting for mine....should be here this week.

I gave mine a good look and nowhere on the watch or in the pamplet does it state water resistant. The only way to find out is to submerge it and I dont want to know that badly.

Jmatias, I agree! It most definitely should have been water-resistant and a calendar would have been nice. They must have known members would want to wear these in the parks, and although it doesnt have to be diver quality, you shoud at least be able to wear it on Splash Mountain!

That didnt stop me though, Dh and I ordered one.

The perfect DVC watch would be a Rolex Stainless Oyster Perpetual DateJust with a silver on silver DVC logo (mountains and ears) on the dial.

I have my Mickey Mouse Tag Heuer 1500 series that I got from MGM and love. Does anyone know what model of fossil this watch is if so just go tot he fossil web site and look up the specs on it it should have there wether it is water proof/resistenet or not.

And don't forget the part about all DVC owners receiving it free. ::yes::

No thanks on the Rolex make it an Omega and you have a deal. Also I was just on the Fossil web page and it looks like all their watches are waterresistent for atleast swimming and such.
