Hi, I have been reading alot about The Passporter..guide to WDW, we already have the Offical and Unofficial Guides, is the Passporter any different? Worth getting??? Or maybe you know of another guide you reccomend.

Thanks.

I LOVE my Passporter. Information wise, it is not as comprehensive as the UOG (so I have both :teeth: ) but the full color maps are great, the info sheets are great, the pockets are great.... I carried it with me to all the parks and used it to store my id, tickets, etc. It makes a wonderful souvenir of your visit too! Lots of places to write down anything you want to remember about your trip!

I have a 2003 passporter that was passed on to me if you want I will send it to you. PM me

I have just about every single WDW guide book imagineable--I read them all and love them--BUT, my DH bought me the Passporter for our upcoming trip and I REALLY LOVE IT!! My favorite parts are the pockets and pages for holding receipts and other loose papers and the pages for keeping track of PS information. I love how they put check boxes next to the restaurants, that way I have been able to X off places that we have PS for, or checkmarks for places I want to try. Its also nice how the authors give you each of their ratings of the rides and other readers ratings (they do this for dining, as well). I plan on carrying this book into the parks with me. I have seen this book anywhere between $15-$25, so make sure you shop around... :flower:

What I get the most out of my passporter is the notes that I have taken. I am not really into super-planning my trip, but enjoy the books to get general info and ideas, so I didn't think I would go nuts with the back section where you write notes on the day - what you enjoyed, what you did, where you ate, etc. Anyways, I went with it and wrote some stuff down on a trip. I was able to re-read it b4 the next trip and thought about alot of things that I wanted to try differently based on my notes, that I had completely forgotten about. I found it pretty helpful.

I love this book - we bought it a few months back and it has been very informative plus love the maps and pockets. I am the book junkie too who has to have several of each kind and read it and this is one of my favorites. :flower:

I have the Unofficial and Official Guides to WDW, I just bought my Passporter from Amazon (14.95) and I love it!! It has a lot of information that I could not find in the other books. :flower:

:flower: I borrowed the passporter from the Library to see if I liked it. It was great, I am going to buy my own. Going to try the 1/2 off bookstore. If I had had the passporter on the last trip I would not have stayed at Doubletree. It was a nice hotel but we were told by our travel agent that we would have the same bus service. Only Disney hotels from now on.

I found a 2004 version on e-bay and bought it, though I would have bought it from a store too, it's so informative. I'm a first-time Disney planner, and this book has been wonderful. It gives a lot of detailed info about each of the Disney resorts, maps of them, colored maps of each park, tons of detailed restaurant info. I also have the UG and the Fodor's WDW with Kids, but this one is my favorite. It has a lot of places to write things down/take notes and pockets for each day of your trip if you're into that.
