Hi,

Was wondering if anyone could tell me how crowded it may be at the parks around mid December. We generally stay at the Poly every year but never went in December we thought the Xmas theme might be nice to see at the Kingdom...Thanks

The parks in December are usually not crowded during the beginning and middle of December. During the holidays, now that's a different story!

The Christmas theming is wonderful! There are lots of "extras" at this time of year too - Mickey's Very Merry Christmas at MK, MGM Christmas light presentation, EPCOT's Candelight Processional.

It's a lovely time to go. Have a wonderful time!

We went down the week before Christmas two years ago and the crowds were very light and the decorations were great. The weather was nice the first few days and then turned very cold the last few, but was still an enjoyable time. My DD and I will be down there again this year the 14th- 19th and we are looking forward to all the decorations again.

Early December is our "usual" time to visit! We just love it all decorated for Christmas!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

We were down there this last December from Dec 1-7 and it was great! The weather was nice, cold at night (it did rain one day but we went to AK which was empty and great!) and the crowds were minmal. One day we acually rode RnR coaster 6 times in a row with about a 5-10 minute wait each time. MK was of course, the most crowded, which it always is, but it was manageable. All in all it was a great week to go and much less crowded than the week we went two years before which was 12/5-12/12! The only real crowds were at the Osbourne lights, and DD for some reason (maybe all the X-mas shopping). If you want a real treat, take the shuttle or your car over to Universal. We went to IOA and it was practically empty!

We go either the first or second week of December each year. The weather is usually nice and the parks are not crowded. I think the longest we waited last year for any ride was Tower of Terror and it was no more than 15 minutes. Heck I didn't even have time to look at the neat stuff along the way inside. We walked onto most of the MK rides - I think we did Buzz Light year about 10 times in a row with no wait whatsoever. Have a great trip.

We went last year the week between Christmas and New Years. The resorts and parks are really a sight to see. I don’t know how long it takes them to decorate, but it is truly a magical wonderland at that time of year. It was very, very crowded during the day, but at night it got cold and the crowds thinned out a lot. If you can stick out the cold nights, you can get see much of the parks in a short amount of time. It is a must see. Go and have a great time!
