Hey, all!!
Just wanted to share that my sister and I were picked for the VoluntEARs calvalcade parade!!! It was amazing!! It was our last day of our spring break trip (flight was that evening!), and we were selected for the parade!
We dropped off our luggae at magical express and then headed over to the Magic Kingdom (around 10am). We were walking towards the bathroom by the firehouse and were near where pinocchio was. Suddenly this wonderful CM came over to my sister and I. She noticed our VoluntEAR buttons (and also our matching Princess Trip custom designed sweatshirts
). She asked us what we had done for our day of service. I quickl explained to her that we had done painting for a children wellness camp.
Earlier in the trip CMs had done the same thing- ask about our serivce, so I didn't think anything of it. Then she explained to us that she had a very special job. I also passed out!
I knew what was coming. She asked if we would like to be in the PARADE!!! I almost started crying!! Talk about magic 
My sister and I went into guest services and got all set with the CM. I could not believe it!!
We met back later for the parade. It was amazing. It was the perfect ending to our Disney vacation. It was the perfect dose of Disney magic! We boarded our car backstage in the magic kingom. They look lots of pictures with photopass and so did my sister. We got to wave to everyone and everyone was cheering. As we turned onto main street, I turned around and saw Kermit and Miss Piggy right behind us= DREAM COME TRUE
Once we went through the parade route, we were removed from the car right past Splash Mountain. We then watched as Kermit and Miss Piggy passed by. Then Swedums gave us each a HUGE high five!! Also very cool!!!!!! We then watched the 3pm parade from a special viewing area. And all of the characters in the parade knew the spot and gave us special attention during the parade. We even got pixie dust sprinkled all over us by the Fairy Godmother!
It was unreal and my best Disney memory to date. If anyone has questions about it, I would be more than happy to answer!!
