I don't rent my points but I was wondering if you could request a restriction on the credit card of someone. I say this for a different reason other than the obvious renter story.....BIL took the kids on a cruise and the kids used their cards to "shop" in the stores. Come to find out my niece bought a whole lot of pajamas she liked! Certainly both can be avoided if a restriction was permitted.

You either have charging privileges or not. Other than the resort limit.

If you are staying in the room, you can certainly specify no charging at all or specify which room keys can charge and which cannot.

If you are not there, I doubt very much if you can specify no charging. As long as the guest provides a credit card, the resort is going to allow charging. Without a cc, the guest can't do express check out. AFAIK, the resort actually prefers the guest provide a credit card and go with express check out - less lines to check out and so less front desk CMs needed..

Best wishes -
