Did anyone watch this movie today? It always makes me cry.

Didn't see it today, but OH MY GOODNESS I CRY everytime I see it too!!!!

Its a great movie!

I didn't see it today, but I saw it a little while ago. It's a good movie and a good book!

Probably my absolute favorite book ever. The movie didn't even compare.I made both my boys read it. Has anyone read "That Was Then, This is Now"? That was even sadder than The Outsiders.Same author, and I know this was also made into a movie, but it didn't capture the emotion of the book.If you liked "The Outsiders" check it out.

We had to read The Outsiders in class, we also had to watch the movie...I prefer the book...Same w/ the princess diaries, the books rock and the movie was great, but no truth to the book what so ever. It made me cry

I don't know why I read the book when I was a kid. But I didn't see the movie until years later.
I'll have to look up the other book.

I loved those books when I was a kid, but I have tried to get my kids to read them and they just turn up their noses. I will have to re-read them.

I love this movie!! I've seen it a about a 100 times! I recorded it so my boys could see it.

I loved that books SO much as a kid I NEVER saw the movie because the visuals I had would've been ruined! You guys make me want to read it again!

I love this movie and book. I originally saw the movie b/c I had the biggest crush on Matt Dillon.

All of S. E. Hinton's books are great.

<font color=navy>I saw the movie years ago. I read the book way back in '78, and I remember crying when I was done. I must've read that book about 10 times in a couple of months. I also read 'That Was Then, This Is Now'. I didn't realize that they were the same author.
