The Outsiders (Possible Actors)

Hey DISers! I need your opinion. I need to create a movie poster for the book, The Outsiders. I need current actors around the ages of the characters in the movie. They need to be able to pull off the look of each character.

I loved Soda Pop.

Honestly, I can't think of any for them except Soda. I would say Jake Gyllenhaal for looks, but the poor boy can't act that well.

Mmm but the movie is somewhat outdated. I've seen it once on some random channel... it was one of those channels you kind of delete from your tv if you've got cable.

I'd love to see a remake, as long as they don't murder it, this is one of my favorite books of all time.

Oh God, I looooved The Outsiders in 7th grade. I think my favorite was C. Thomas Howell as Ponyboy. Anyways, speaking of Jake Gyllenhaal, how about Heath Ledger for Darry? And I've got to disagree with Ashley Tisdale as Cherry. What about Kate Bosworth? So yeah, I'll keep thinking...

I disagree on Kate Bosworth. The people in the story weren't stick thin back, nor were they around that era. And Kate has really thinned out, I feel like calling her Skeletor (Lohan's nickname) because it's just nasty how thin she is.
