I have to admit, the first one, "Thank You," really choked me up.

Thank you for sharing this. I live in an area that has a huge population of Kurds. I think it's actually the largest outside of Iraq. Some of my son's friend's parents have told me that they were always grateful that we overthrew Saddam and were glad our troops were there.

You know what?

i reckon most people down there don't give a hoot. All they want is for tomorrow to follow today, for their kids to have a decent life and for things to just settle down.

Like a sin wave, I also reckon that there will be a small amount of people on polar opposite ends. The amount of videos of happy Iraqis and hopping mad Iraqis is interesting, but by no means definitive.

I remember there being a prayer for normality - it's on the tip of my tongue...
