The one with the NON-Photos and the ever changing title, 7/11, updates galore!Pgs 6&7

:grouphug: sending you a big hug. Unfortunately anything can be a weapon when it comes to kids. And it is not just you. I think all kids love to fight as much as love.

Sisterly love hey don't you love it :lmao: Hope her head gets better soon

I'm sending a prayer for the precious stapled head and for the precious staple-free head that caused it. (one of my daily prayers for my 2 year old is for him to be sweet and somewhat-quasi-obedient...God has a sense of humor and we must interpret obedience differently, or He simply has not yet answered that prayer. I'll keep sending it up for good measure)

Have fun at Target

Bless her heart! Never a dull moment at your house, huh? Not long now.:cool1:

We have made it 24 hours + with no more trips to the ER - whoo hooo! Happy days here in Twingle Land. And yes, there has been a time or two when I've had to go to the ER three times in less than 24 hours for the kids. Hand to God, honestly.

Thank you all for your well wishes, internet hugs, and kind thoughts & prayers. Really, as much as Twin #1 can be a stinker, they really are sweet little girls, just a little "rough" at times. As Twin #2 likes to say, "sometimes sister loves me too hard".

Best of friends, worst of enemies type of thing.

Twin #2 wouldn't go to Target with me - she said "I went out yesterday and didn't have any fun at all. Please can I just stay home today?"

So, she stayed home and I spent $300 at Target getting random crud for our trip. Few more days to go! Have to make my packing list, and drag the luggage up from the basement. Other drips and drubs, you know how that goes. I had to make sure I had LOTS of sunscreen, because the last time we were in Florida I forgot it, and had to purchase some at the Animal Kingdom.

Did you know that sunscreen at the Animal Kingdom costs $15? Oh yes. It's not even "Disney" suncreen, with Mickey's on it. Just the regular Banana Boat. But, had to part with the cash, since there would be no way on God's Green Earth that we could wander around Animal Kingdom with no sunscreen (see Pasty Twingle Crew, mentioned above.)

And, for some more totally useless information, I had to dance in Target yesterday, because Coke has finally brought back my very, most very favouritest of drinks.

Regular Vanilla Coke.

Very happy about that. They discontinued it about two years ago, and I was irked enough to send not one, but three letters to Coca-Cola about it. LOVE me some Regular Vanilla Coke. The only place I could find it was at Chuck E. Cheese. So, the kids and I went to the Rat's House ALOT. So I could get my fix.

I now have six bottles of the stuff in my fridge. I'm trying to not drink it all in one sitting.

Oh my gosh, I'm off the DisBoards for a day and a half, and I'm on page two. Oh the shame, the shame.

Anyway,

Guess where I was?

Nope, not the ER again!

I was at my doctor!

Wanna know why?

I have Strep!

Yes, five days out, I have been diagnosed with Strep Throat. All of my children and the DH are negative. How did that happen? Where do I ever go without at least one of the kids? I don't even go to the bathroom or to bed on my own, I always have company. Or an extremely chatty shadow, but I think I usually just have company.

Today, barring any other illnesses or personal body injuries, I'll be bringing up the luggage from the basement, finalizing our packing lists, folding up the mounds of laundry that I washed this weekend, and figuring out what I still need to buy.

Have to get all of our Disney dollars together also. I have an extremely bad habit of purchasing Disney dollars for birthday, chore money, Tooth fairy money, etc., and then forgetting about, so I have to get all the Disney Dollars in one place and see how much Disney $$ I have.

S'later.

Got all of our Disney dollars together! Wanna see?

That's $85 worth of Disney dollars. Whoa.

And, our Disney Rewards Visa Card came today! Wanna see?

100_3985.jpg

$340 on the rewards card!

Plus, we're on the Dining Plan, so ergo, our food will not cost us anything, since it is already paid for.

Plus, we're staying at Saratoga Springs, using our DVC points, ergo again, our lodging is free, since we own our DVC free and clear.

Wow, wonder if I can convince Mr. Twingle that this Disney trip is not costing us anything, as in, we are not incurring new debt?

Hhhhmmmmmm.

Anyway, wanna see who is wicked happy to be going back to Disney?

100_3988.jpg

That's Barbie Ariel. Sorry about the exposed ****age, didn't realize that until I snapped. You know, snap, snap, get the picture. Not that I snapped, as in I had a nervy spaz.

She's doing the splitz thanks to my DS. Who was highly interested in what Ariel had under her skirt this weekend. That conversation went something like this:

DS: "I wonder what Ariel has under her skirt?"
Me: "Why don't you look and see?"
DS: "REALLY?"
Me: "Sure honey, she's just a dolly."
DS: "OKAY! Hhhmmm. She sure does have some long legs."
Me: "Yup. She sure does."
DS: looking, and looking, and LOOKING at Ariel's legs. "I don't think real women look like this."
Me: "You would be right."

:confused3 You 'accidentally' blocked out the number. I can't buy anything online with it now. Please re-take that pic. :lmao:

Green I tell ya, GREEN with envy. I'm gonna puke I'm so completely GREEEEEEEEEEN with DVC envy.

:lmao: My 'Alice' is obsessed with naked Ariel too. Ariel came with a dress and a mermaid outfit but they're gathering dust as she likes to leave her just in her 'bra' most of the time and then tell everyone very loudly that "Ariel has a lovely bra". She also likes to embarrass DS10 in public by asking him "do you love Ariel's bra too?". Yes, she's going through a bra-phase. At 3! By the way, does anyone think it's just plain thick stupid to make an Ariel doll who can sing and gets ruined (obviously) when she's dunked in water? She sang for just a couple of days before 'Alice' couldn't resist giving her a swim in the sink. I mean she is a mermaid after all so it's only natural that 'Alice' wanted to take her swimming. Silly toy. Her other 'Ariel' can fly if you hang her from the ceiling. Why a flying Ariel? Surely a swimming Ariel would make more sense. Needless to say, her flying powers are long gone too as she's regularly bathed.

Sorry about the throat. It could be pre-vacation nerves - it does affect us in all sorts of ways. Gargle with salt and tepid boiled water and get some rest. :thumbsup2

**Whoua, pant, pant**

Just jumping in here really quick to let you know I am busy, busy, busy. Busier than that even. Second to last load of laundry done, ran a bunch of errands this morning, Nana has the twinados, getting loads of stuff done around the house.

Thanks DisneyJo and DebIreland for the well wishes on my throat. In our family, something always seems to come up right at the last minute.

Deb, I'll make sure to retake the photo of the Rewards card. Don't forget how to spell my name: Y-O-U-W-I-S-H. And the security code is "ya right".

Don't be green with envy about DVC! We managed to purchase it outright just because my husband is so tight he squeaks. Really. Have to use a crowbar on his wallet and everything. If we couldn't have paid for it, guess what? We wouldn't have bought it. Simple pimple, in Mr. Twingle land.

So . . . . if Alice's Ariel could fly, did that make her a flying fish? Definately know what you mean about toys not working the way they should appear to work to the age range child that they are aimed for.

Does that make any sense?

Anyway, have to run -

Just stopping by to say goodbye. We are signing off tonight. Here's some pixie dust for your trip. pixiedust: Hope it is magical.

Lynn, you are gone, daddy, gone, but thank you for the Pixie Dust! Right back at you! Love, love, LOVE your list for Disney that you posted on your TR. So awesome.

Personally, I definately need to follow your lead on not stressing about how I look at Disney. I usually stress out about how my hair/make-up looks, and then I don't get in any of our photos. In looking back on our last five trips, there are FOUR pictures with me in them. And of those four, three of them are the group shot at Chef Mickey's. How sad is that? My kids aren't going to remember the fact that I was actually at Disney with them. So, one of my goals is to make sure I'm in more of the photos this trip, making sure I hand over the camera, and definately getting some of the photos from the rides.

Hope everyone out there in cyper-land is doing okay! I'll post photos tomorrow of our mounds of clothing and assorted crud-ola that we'll be taking on our journey.

Off to clean potties now, the joy, the joy. Anyone else really need to vacation with a clean house? The clutter doesn't bother me (much) when we're home, but I definately want to come home to a super clean house. So, tonight will be devoted to cleaning house and finishing up the packing. Also have to run to Hallmark to get Father's Day cards, can't forget about the Daddies while we're in Disney!

Also, Twin #2 had her staple removed today - no worries there. The doctor said it looked just great, healing just the way it should.

;)

And this makes me less envious how exactly??? Like if you had a big fat loan for it I'd be more envious. :lmao: I'm just kidding with ya, you know that. I like to see my DIS friends happy and DVC certainly helps I bet. :thumbsup2

I usually stress out about how my hair/make-up looks, and then I don't get in any of our photos.

I'm the same way - well about not getting in the photos. I realised lately when I was going through some old pics of my parents that when I die (in 60 years or so!) my kids and future grandkids will have no pics of me. :confused3 That's just stupid. From now on I'm gonna just get in the pics - for future generations if for nothing else.

I'll post photos tomorrow of our mounds of clothing and assorted crud-ola that we'll be taking on our journey.

We're waiting........ :bored:

Anyone else really need to vacation with a clean house?

Yes. It's always my aim anyway - doesn't always happen but it's worth it to make the effort. Coming back from holidays is depressing enough without coming back to a hovel.

Also, Twin #2 had her staple removed today - no worries there. The doctor said it looked just great, healing just the way it should.

I'm so glad. And she has her Disney trip to take her mind off that. Gotta keep that sweet healing head out of the Florida sun at all times, but then you knew that. Am I turning into my mother-in-law?

Here you go, and as I said in Lynn's TR, I am the QUEEN of packing. Behold: a family of five going to Disney for nine days, packed into one suitcase.

AND, it weighs 50 pounds EXACTLY.

Because we have other crud-ola, not to be confused with crap-ola, behold, our food/poncho/charger/crud suitcase:

Got clean potties, clean sheets, clean(ish) house, if I haven't packed it, I can just buy it at Disney.

We leave at it's-too-early-thirty, not to be confused with O-Dark-Thirty tomorrow morning, so I'm siging off the Dis for now. STILL have to go to Hallmark, other than that, just have to get my wallet into my travel purse/bag.

See you on the 18th! :)

Wow that's all I can say about your packing you truly are the Queen of packers :thumbsup2

Have a great trip Twingle :wave2:

Oh no I missed saying have a great trip. Well I won't make that mistake with Twingle.

See you on the 18th! :)

Have a wonderful time. Relax and enjoy and make sure to jump in as many pics as possible that you can then disquise for our amusement.

Wow! I cannot believe you got everyone's stuff into 1 suitcase!!! I bow to your greatness! I'm lucky to get stuff for our family of 5 into 3 suitcases! Just amazing! But, then again, you have twins to run after, so less baggage is good! :thumbsup2 I hope your daughter's head is better! OUCH! That staple looked painful! :sad1: I also hope you are feeling better. I always get sick before our trips. I think it's just the pre-WDW stress that wears me down. Don't worry, though, all this pre-trip chaos is just to balance out the FABULOUS time you are going to have!!! I'm looking forward to reading your TR when you get home! :goodvibes

-Michelle

P.S. I love all of the shirts you made!!!

Just found your trip report and I'm loving it! You really are the queen of packing!
