Hiya

I went into Thomsons yesterday and saw they are advertising "the one" ticket which includes, well everything!! disney universal aquatica. to name a few.

its £300 each,

I was tempted to book it, but wondered if its too much to do in one stay.

obviously we will have an 11 month old when we go October 2009, but my parents have now also booked to come out with us and we will be sharing a car so going places together. So theres enough people for parent swaps etc.

Has anybody else seen this ticket? as I have looked on the Keith Prowse website and cant see it

its just all the tieckets rolled into one price! I think it may be cheaper to buy them all seperate.

I think its just an excuse for TA to get more money from us

Yes and no..... it depends which non-Disney multi-park ticket they throw in - if it's the standard FlexTicket , then it's an overcharge of around £26. If it's the Plus which includes Busch Gardens, then it's an overcharge of just £6, so surprisingly not too bad.

I would recommend checking to make sure they can offer that price for a 2009 holiday - pricing goes up yearly at WDW, so it may well affect the price tag going next year.

I have posted a few times about it, latest one was here http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1849298 looks like they might have dropped the price unless they are doing another option now.
Basically there is no 'One' ticket its other tickets they are bundling, check seperate as you might be buying more than you need and better options.

I posted a thread about this, about 2-3 weeks ago.My opinion is it seems another way of the TA getting your money+overcharging. We priced up the tickets we had already gotten for Disney+our Seaworld+Aquatica+UNI+IOA tickets(which we have'nt got yet)and it worked out alot cheaper to get them from seperate tour operators, who have offers on.x.

We have just booked with Thomas Cook - going Airtours. I had a rough idea of all the park prices that I wanted and they price matched everything (without even checking!). Initially I was going to buy from all the separate sites to get the best prices - but as they price matched it was just easier to get everything from them.
It seemed like they were desparate for our business and would have given me any reasonable price at all!!!
If they will price match then I would have no problem buying them from the local agent - if they wont price match then my money goes somewhere else!

At least you then only have one point of contact should you have any problems.

Happy hunting!!

In my opinion you're paying far too much if you buy this.

Not that it's a bad option for the bundle itself, just that there is no way you need that amount of park days and flexibility for a two week visit.

If you plan a rough itinerary and add a bit of extra days/flexibility then you can do a 2 week trip at less cost.

I think it's a lot to do in one trip anyway, let alone with an 11 month old when you have not experienced travelling with a young child before. I would maybe just buy your Disney tix and then see what else you want to do when you are there. DH and I bought loads of tix before our honeymoon and didn't use some of them *** we ran out of time and wanted some rest days.

Hope you and bump are well.
