I'll use 52 of the 74 points for the fourth night in May 2013 at DL so then I'm wondering if I should use some of the rest to upgrade our view so we aren't looking at the convention center or parking lot.

My kitty Velcro missed us a bunch. On tue downside we need to find new cat sitters before we go away next because not only did they NOT get the cats in who were out when we left, but they let one out who wasn't supposed to get out. We couldn't get them back in last night, I hope the fact that there is no food out there makes them eventually come in. I wish it would rain.

If I lived close , I would do it. I think I am an overly protective pet parent.

Well I did get two of them in but one got back out because they had pushed a screen out from the frame. Now we'll have to have it rescreened, but for now I have closed the window. I I think one of the cars is just not going to come back. One of Arline's cats.

I'd take the upgrade. I think it's worth it.

When we were in Maui it was at the westin villas and although you don't spend all that much time in the room and especially in a resort like this there are lots of places to hang out. It does make it ever so lovely having a nice out look.

By sheer fluke we got a room right by a quiet adult pool and near one of the bbqs. Was lovely.

It's better cash but I think even mr stingy my brother would have put points into an upgrade if that had been his compensation because his points are expiring soon. So need using.

We keep going back and forth on the upgrade, DH says save the points and I keep remembering how nice our pool view was last January. It will be 45 points, one minute I'm like we won't be in our room much to enjoy it and the next I want to pick up the phone and change it.

It's not bad....

It is something you have to be comfortable with but Hawaii is somewhere I think with five nights the upgrade you'd appreciate it.

I mean it's not at all that I'm rich. Damn I'm working my **** off and still awaiting my contract renewal. Lol. But I'm going with first class on the train pass foe example for this up coming trip in Switzerland because it's about $150 more for both of us for the 4 day pass and the comfort factor just justifies it to me.

Jo I feel your pain and wish things would change for your and your DH. The 90's were our rough decade, now we're making up for lost time. DH worked at Rancho Seco so when it closed there went his income, it wasn't until the early 2000's that his income came up to what he made in the 80's.

Thanks Angela , I am not worried about ownig things. If I am not in debt, that is a plus right there. We are not rich in money, but not poor. I have a roof and food.
