I received some good news today. DVC will be crediting us back with 2 nights worth of points for our Aulani stay in Dec due to construction going on at the resort.

I wonder if that's what will happen with my brother. He's going with my parents in November to Aulani.

My mum's main concern is a quiet room away from the noise.
I wonder why the late change to the construction schedule?
I know it's the story of my life these kinds of changes but it seems a bit odd.
I guess they survived the wrath of brides building the dvc at grand Floridian so they can survive anything and someone has a 'reason'

Started reading. Work place politics are no fun at times. I've mostly only worked Mom and Pop but have heard from Crap about the nonsense.

I need a hearing aid but do not wear one. I have to be reminded to lower my voice at times when I am louder than I realize. Those who dislike loud people would not like me much.

My Doctor mentioned doing a hysterectomy after I am done having kids. That is only in the event my bladder falls and the organ tie off does not work. Good luck with whatever you decide on that. It is scary no matter what your age or how many kids you have.

Is your brother and parents booked in the hotel or DVC? I believe the dates covered are Sept 10 through Dec 22, 2012 so they should be covered. I didn't receive the email regarding the point credit, I found out about it when I called Member Services regarding the flyer I received through the mail about the construction.

I doubt you'll be able to avoid the noise during the day. We're usually out exploring the island during the day so it won't bother us.

I guess my point was mainly about if they still have enough flexibility in bookings at this late staff to negotiate the 'deal'.
A relaxed quiet stay would be better than a noisy room for less points. So I wonderr if free upgrades etc are other it's too late in the game flexibility and availability wise.

From what Member Services told me today, they sent the notice of the expansion by regular mail and another notice regarding the credit of points by email on 8/3. I never received the email. You might want to have him check his junk folder if he didn't receive the email.

I only own at four, but I have five contracts, considering a sixth at VGC if they bring back F&W, I'll need one!

It's seven actually. But all very strategic. Plus given that no contract is more than 120 the cumulative points is still less than some people carry at the one resort.
First was an OKW resale. Then a couple small EPCOT resort resales. Then AKV. Some BLT (which I claim as mine...lol) and of course the grand cal and Hawaii.

What can I say beyond....this is his hobby......
