It is truly sad what has happened to her after looking at those pictures. The real sad part is even if she makes a full recovery, she will never be back to her former Glory. In these past 3-4 years she's crossed some lines with the public and her fans that won't be ever be forgotten or healed. She's just done so much damage to her image and her original fan base is getting older and moving on. The teens that bought so many copies of her first CD in 1999 are now old enough to have kids of their own. 7 years in the world of Pop, is an eternity. It's been at least 4 since she had new material and toured.
The buying public can only take so much craziness and weird behavior before they lose interest. Look at Micheal Jackson for example. Long before the child molestation charges of 1993, the public was getting tired of his act. It was part of the MJ mystique in the early 80's with weird outfits and all his strange behavior. It was part of his act and it was kind of accepted due to his talent. His weirdness got old with the public and by the mid 90's he was a shell of his former self. He will never recapture the glory days of Thriller (1982 to 1984) or how he looked or moved back then.
