arghhhhh i want to book while the free dining is on and time is running out !!
:worship:

No guarantees but I expect the offer to be extended if past years are anything to go by. I never book until later in the year, I prefer to buy my flights first if possible.

yes i have browsed at some more last min flights and packages and seen some really good prices so i can see the advantages to leaving it a bit later ,

i do hope they extend it or run it again sept 2013 is quite a long way yet !!

I know exactly how you feel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DBF has basically just said NO we must wait till 2014, now think of me as being a spoilt brat if you will, but I wont get away anywhere this year and its been over a year since Ive had a break away.............

SO...........ive changed my plan eeek myself and mum were due to go to DLP in a few weeks but unfortunately circumstances wont allow both of us to travel at the same time one of us needs to be home yadda yadda......

My new plan is to book for June 2013 for mum and me for 10 nights, going to book it Monday fingers crossed xxxx (could all change but thats the plan atm)

It will of course be a surprise and ill be footing the bill  but i think the memories will be worth it and the year will give me plenty of time to pay it off in instalments. And the dining plan will give us the chance to dine at the restaurants as I have only had one table service meal back in 2008 as I always felt the table service was out of my budget but with the DP it takes the sting off :)

Now keep in mind, mum has never been to the states, isnt a big Disney fan BUT I really want her to experience extraordinary instead of her usual twice yearly spain/lanzarote trips (which are great but come on, live a little)

My only decision now is...which resort lol Im between CRS and Saratoga Springs...

Sorry for the extra long post :rotfl2::rotfl2: I really hope you get to book before the 20th sending lots of pixie dust your way xxxxxxxx:wizard::wizard:

Oh i didnt know this!!!! As of course I would be booking Monday without having flight booked I was going to gamble on the flights.....

In your opinion is it better to take a gamble with the flights or with the offer being extended?

we havent been abroad since 2008 !! im well fed up

this is such a needed holiday !!

the oh has loads practical reasosn like wanting to wait til kids older so they remember , money etc but i dont care , i know will be able to pay it off if we book it

Ooooohhhh I do feel for you......defo sounds like a much needed break!
How old are your little ones?
Its very easy for me to say oh just book it hehe.... as really I dont have many responsibilities (not been blessed with kiddys just yet)
.....maybe sit down together, keep and open mind and lay out all your own pros and cons as every family has its individual needs :)

Hope this post makes sense I have a habit of rambling?? Plus if the pros list is bigger than the cons.........:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

they are 2,4 and 5 at the moment obv next year will all be a year older but he wants to wait until the youngest is older still !!

tbh hes just tight lol but the costs are going to be the same if not more if we leave it longer

he has said we can go to eurodisney again as a compromise but we went there before and i hated it !! plus cost over £1000 for 3 days so i would rather leave that cash in the florida fund

i paying money in to a seperate bank account every month at the moment so that is still building up while hes digging his heels about booking !!

hes usually quite easy to talk round to things but this hes been soo stubborn !!! i know he will love it once hes there and will realise it was worth every penny!

Hummm its a tough one but in all fairness £1000 could get you quite the way on a package to WDW??

Aww three kids :cutie:

Its really a tough one...I dont no what to say, just know Im sending you LOADS of pixie dust:wizard::wizard::wizard::wizard::wizard::hug: (before you explode from Disney fever :lmao:)....maybe a Disney themed night or something fun might help with showing what a good time you will have and that it will be worth every penny for the memories?

I totally understand where your coming from,I would go to Disney every yr if I could more then once!.
The last trip we went on I booked after Dh telling me we should wait a year etc and how he wanted to not have a year of big spending ........well I er sort of accidently booked 3 wks in AKL with free DDP we needed 2 rooms as i decided we would be paying for my Dm like always and I put down the dep whilst he was at work"it really was a accident I got carried away whilst talking to the tour op on the phone":lmao:

Well he came home and I told home that i told him I had a surprise for him & that it was TOO good a deal for me to resist and that I had booked a £11,200 holiday with out actually asking him! I have never lived it down and now when ever we are at friends and the men complain about women buying more shoe's/bags etc he brings up the holiday and says well at least your wife didnt do this...........!!!:rotfl:

Thing is im still alive to tell the story so it could be worse and we did have the most amazing time at the AKL,
I have since agreed never to actually book a holiday without consent(I got away with it once dont think id push a 2nd)

Hope you get to talk him round :thumbsup2

We travelled to disney with our oldest when she was 9 months old, youngest last year when she was just 4 months, and our next trip in 2013 we will be travelling with our very soon to be (only 5 weeks until D-Day) who will only be 6 months old.

They dont/wont remember the trips, but i certainly do. :O)

We are lucky enough that we go every year, but if i suppose if its a once in a lifetime trip or certainly not likely to happen again for a few years it might be worth holding off. But honestly not sure if i could.

Its a holiday for You and Hubbie as well. Sometimes i thinks it easier with smaller children - they arent so opionated, you can pretty much do what you want and they follow (most of the time!) and we dont have the aruguments about why one can go on a ride and the other cant. Plus a two year old hasnt cottoned on to why Cinderella looks completely different at CRT compared to Akershus!

Youngest DD has just starting talking properly so by January will be in full flow so this may change - LOL

This post i realise is a little contradictory - But i would always rather regret doing something that not doing it.

i like this !! seriously tempted surely hes not going to complain when i say we are going to florida next month and its all paid off

as much as i love florida i do not want to go every year !! we will make a return trip when they are much older , me and dp both love the huge theme park rides

we went to eurodisney witha 9 month old and i hated this , just felt like i was left holding the baby while dp and my son did all the rides, i know they do ride swap but its boring riding on your own

I know what you mean about riding on your own,I used to go with my parents when i was younger and I would do all the fast rides but they didnt,I had no brothers/sisters my age so i did all the rides on my own!
Im now lucky in the fact that my mum now comes with us so she used to watch the little ones whilst we rode the big rides.....I have done Disney paris before and for the money its just not worth it IMO there is so much more to do at DW that the whole family can do.
If you know you wpnt want to go bk every yr then i would try hard to er talk him round:lmao: or SURPRISE him haha with a pretty much paid of trip Ideal!!:thumbsup2

haha im still working on it , made lots of cakes n lovely baked treats for him , he quite fancys the driving experience at daytona so that n the water parks are my main sway on him

i think he may be expecting it to be very similar to euro disney and i dont think he gets how many parks the disney tix can get us in to and how big they are!!
