I am so excited, I talked my Mom's twin sister into coming with us to WDW! My uncle passed away a few years ago, and they always went wiht my cousins.
She is excited and so is my Mom, she is so much fun (both are), and my Aunt really needs a vacation.
Not sure she is as Disney OCD as we are, but she has been there many more times than we have.
I added her to our MNSSHP, CM breakfast, and booked Dinner in Mexico for us as well!
Can't wait, should be a blast!!!!!
Need to shop and pack, I am so behind.

Hi all
Just booked a last minute trip for me and my DD3 for 9/30-10/06 got a deal on airfare and my DH has decided that going to the SC Gamecocks game was what he wanted to do. SO no argument from him that we didn't want to be stuck home alone all week! Staying at ASMo please let us get the Dalmations my DD all she wants is to sleep in Pongos house....Can't wait
I blieve that it 64 days!! Holy crap I need to start planning. So much pressure!

Sorry for the delay in updating this week. I was in the hospital most of the week. I was very sick with an MRSA infection that caused me to be completely septic. My left lower leg is still red, swollen, hot, and painful, but the drugs in the hospital were making it better and I asked to go home....luckily, they let me go! So, I am doing my best to behave myself. Very tired and weak, but after a week of fevers in the 102 to 104 range, it's no wonder why.

I did at least come home to the much welcomed details on events at the F&W Fest. I was bummed to find that Cat Cora is scheduled to appear on the day that we leave, but there is hope for a couple of other events.

Thanks for the well wishes and prayers, happy thoughts, pixie dust and whatever else you wanna throw my way. I know that I don't want to ever be as sick as I was on Monday and Tuesday ever again. I don't ever want to hurt as bad as I hurt on Wednesday again. I just want to get better. I have 2 more weeks of medicine to take. I have pain pills that I don't like using because even though they are not addictive, they make me forgetful and really fuzzy thinking. Kind of like "Moron in a Bottle"....you'll feel better, but you are going to sound stupid and need a keeper. But in all honesty, there were a lot of prayers said between me and God over the last few days. The one that I chuckle over now is one that I believe that I had at about 103 degrees......"No not now God, I can't die yet, I have to turn 40 at Disney!" I swear, it was the fever talking......I hope he understands that the kingdom of heaven sounds like a greater place to be than WDW.....I just am not ready for pearly gates yet! Hopefully, I have more work left to do here.

We are going for our 2 year wedding anniversary and celebrating my birthday early down there!! WOO-HOO!!

The dates will be sent in stone by the end of this week but we have...

Oct 16-23 OR Oct 17-24

We will be definitely at MNSSHP on the 18th! Tickets already purchased!

Question, if any of you could tell me? Is it true that they close "Body Wars" and other attractions in the "Wonders of Life Pavilion" in Epcot during October, and if they do, why??

I have been there Last March, July, Sept and Dec, and all times this pavillion has been closed. The updates show it as seasonal, not sure what season it actually operates.
Found an insider who told me, not sure if they were official or not, but they are planning on replacing this with a rollercoaster type ride. Might be a long wait, the sponsorship 'MetLife' no longer is displayed on the sign.
Hopefully something better, too bad, Body wars was interesting!

The whole Wonders of Life pavilion has been basically closed for several years. They have been opening it only for about a month or so each year- in 2006, it was open from Thanksgiving through New Years only. I don't hold out much hope for it ever being open again- I seem to remember reading something about Disney removing just about everything from the pavilion this year, and making it a convention type space.

Love MNSSHP -
2002 - Mom & I made Raggerty Ann & Andy costumes - complete with gloves, in R/W/B coordinating fabric. Had red yarn wigs, way to hot for FLA.
Lots of compliments, even from the Park employees, who though we worked there.
2004 - Made Mickey Poodle skirts - Red skirts with quilted Mickeys on them complete with the crenelins, black shirts, yellow (Mickey yellow) belts and 50's sunglasses - stayed at POP (50's)

EPCOT - Spaceship Earth closed
MK - BTM - closed until 24th
MGM - rumor that RNR will be closed, nothing offical yet.
Water parks are closing end of Oct.

IMHO - Need 3/4 day AK, 1 MGM, 1 MK, 1+ EPCOT, depending on how long you check out the countries. Check out the EMH - will give you more time if you are staying on property, to stay in the park longer, or earlier.
