The WDW site is so confusing - I can find a list of dates with times, but it's just a list - I'd like to see it in calendar format. And TGM has them in calendar format, but I don't trust his hours since he lists EMH at MK from 12-3 the same day that Disney lists EMH as 10-1....hmmm....

Disney used to have calendars - are they still around? Can someone lead me to them???

Any chance you're talking about 2/14-15 weekend? (guessed from your ticker and because there's not that many midnight closings in the Jan/Feb time frame). I just looked at the Disney website and it says this for MK on those days:

Saturday, February 14 9:00:00 AM-12:00:00 AM
Sunday, February 15 9:00:00 AM-12:00:00 AM
12:00:00 AM-3:00:00 AM Extra Magic Hours

That doesn't match the DIS calendars for those days. The link Dan posted I'm not so sure about - the landing page says Feb 2009, but the calendar actually says Feb 2008 on it. But what I posted above does line up with TGM's hours for those days. I know he just did a park hours update yesterday for February.

Here's where I found that on the WDW site:
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ca...ly_endDate=20090222&asmbly_startDate=20090212

That link though is based on asking to see 10 days worth of calendars starting on 2/12/09. So you would have to edit it to see different days. Hope that helps if that's the time frame you were looking at.

I have been looking for the calendar page they used to have alos. I don't know why they got rid of it. It was so much easier to plan with the calendar then with this new 10 day chart.

I checked the website this morning for parade times in April and nothing showed up. How can we plan our holidays!!!!!:upsidedow

We are going Feb 1-6th and ew are on the Platinum plan. I emailed our Platinum planner yesterday about times for parades and such and included that I could not navigate the new format on the WDW site. She emailed me back and said she wasn't aware that the site had changed so she checked it out herself and SHE was confused as well!
So it's not just all of us who don't like it:)

I am on the WDW site right now and thoroughly confused!! I too was dissapointed in the 10 day planner layout. I much preferred the calendar. This time I couldn't get the 10 day to go to the correct dates, it keeps going back to only the names of the parks--no hours. Click on the park and you get the main page for that park. Agghh! (It worked fine for me before). I ended up on the MK park page. Frustrated by the lack of functioning calendar or hours in the sidebar on this page, I scrolled down the page and lo and behold-- Calendars is a paragraph heading and there is a link for ... Calendars for Disney's Magic Kingdom Theme Park. I click on that one and get a calendar which I can utilize to change the times for our April trip from the previously posted ones before they changed the site. Hmmm...they are now opening one hour later than previously posted. To be honest, I'm fine with that. Makes it easier to get to the a.m. EMH. But great, a real calendar.

Back to the AK page, down to calendars and Calendars for Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme PArk.. I click it and get...a blank calendar. DHS worked just fine. Anyone else notice this? Is it a glitch today? Has anyone been able to access AK calendar correctly?? Or Epcot's?

On that same note, did I totally miss the boat on the hours changing? I've had to redo most of my park hours (MK, AK and EP) for our April trip, and I had used the calendar on the previous WDW site with the same dates.

These Calendars on the Disney site .. are not yet 100% accurate or functional.

After I wrote a letter to Disney earlier this week -- and a pretty blistering one at that - I got a call from a nice gent who works with the Disney Internet Group and he asked me a lot of questions.

When we were done.. I pointed out rather plainly they should come here and read these complaints.

I hope they do.

it wouldn't be so bad if their calendars actually agreed with each other though. evidently not only did they not have the foresight to put a working system online, but they have multiple sources of information, so what little information the live site has disagrees with alternate official disney world sites.

As of right now, 6:30pm ET, the hours for MK are posted as follows:

Saturday, February 14 9:00:00 AM-10:00:00 PM
Sunday, February 15 9:00:00 AM-10:00:00 PM
10:00:00 PM-1:00:00 AM Extra Magic Hours

Ugghh!! I am so sick of Disney changing the hours. My kids were so excited when they thought they were going to be able to stay in MK until 3am on February 15th. My boys are older and love MK evening EMH's. Disney really needs to get its act together! They are driving me crazy!

I went back to the link I posted, right now at 7:45 PM and see those hours as well!

I certainly wouldn't be heavily relying on anything I find anywhere! Seems like it's best just to have Plan A and Plan B (and maybe C,D and E) and wait to see what it is when you get there!

Now that the official website has changed the format for Park hours, which I don't like, can someone tell me where you find the hours for Spectromagic and Wishes?

I can't find it anywhere. :confused3

I changed the hours in my April EMH spreadsheet using the new info that was posted on the DIS boards up above here (hours through the Theme Parks link), but...I saved it as April EMH Updated Jan. 24. Since I'm sure there'll be more changes. If the original was right, I at least won't need to throw the computer ;)

I do wish the new site had been more functional. I mean, really Disney, can you not get people to try it to be sure it works? The other didn't look as nice, but it worked fine.

Of course. Thought I had everything all set. Have been planning on DHS on Thursday 2/12 (specifically looking for non-EMH and non-Fantasmic days). And now when I just went to re-check hours, things are haywire!
  • Disneyworld.com (here) now out of nowhere list DHS as closing at 7, with EMH that night.
  • The Canadian version of the official calendar (here) shows DHS closing at 6 and NO EMH.
  • The DIS "enter your dates" calendar (here) shows DHS closing at 7.
  • The DIS "Monthly" calendar (here) and Allears (here) shows DHS closing at 7, but NO EMH.

What do I believe? :confused3

Good luck, I have been trying to figure out on the official site where the hours for Spectro and Wishes are located and can't find it and got no reply to my request.

It seems the official website has really gone downhill with the park hours setup.
