The Official Spring 2007 CP

ohhhh....I'm so pumped!!!!!!! not too long now. I'm going on the 6th.

It seems like it's forever away but it's coming up so fast. The last day of the semester will marj exactly one month to check in for me. I just hope I'm not forgetting anything. I have a huge lists everywhere!

I'm totally freaking out. I have 14 (almost 13 days) before I check in. I also have to write 2 papers, move out of my dorm, file a crap ton of paperwork with the school, convince my business teacher to move my final (she keeps saying she will look into it tomorrow) and try to ace 5 finals (which are in the 2 days before I leave). And shop and pack and try to bond with the people I'm leaving for eight months and decide what I need now and what can last until my parents come in a couple weeks and AHHHHHH!

I feel the same way and I still have a month to plan and do all that. It will seem great when you're down there. My Mum had to give me a talk off the ledge this afternoon and just told me to take it one day at a time. I was good for about an hour now I'm going crazy again! I wish someone would write my papers and take my finals for me. I mean they can't do any worse than I am at the moment. You'll have to let us know how great it is down there though. I wish I could go down early. I know my philosophy teacher wouldn't give me the final early though and it's on the 14th. I need to ace just 2 so I can pass both my classes. And by ace I mean iterally. I suck at phil and my science class cause I'm horrible at tests. Now I'm rambling on here instead of doing something else...

Just keep thinking about the time to come. Are you going to take any classes while there? I haven't decided yet but I know I wanna do the professional studies thing....

Well, if you have been accepted you just log onto www.wdwcollegeprogram.com and accept the CP. Then it gives you a list of arrival dates to choose from. And you won't find out where you will be living until you check in.

I got a really nice woman who made it so easy to get through. It was like you said, just a casual convo hah. I had made notes before-hand so I got out everything I wanted to say and stayed smiley/bubbley the whole time and she said I did a great interview

Now I just have to wait 2 weeks for my letter! Hah, I'm going to go crazy

Just curious how many of you are over 21, and does anyone know the average age of people doing the CP? like is it mostly 18 and 19 yo? Not that there's anything wrong w/that it would just be nice if there were people closer to my age too.

I would say it is pretty much a mix of ages. However a lot of people are around 18, 19, 20 just because they tend to do the program while they are an undergrad and undergrad schools are where disney tends to recuit. However there are plenty of people that are 21 and there are many that are older. I am 19 going to be turning 20 while I am doing the CP.

Well, I actually am an undergrad. It's just that after two semesters of school at 18, it took me 5 years of working to decide what I actually wanted to major in. So I'm a 24yo undergrad. Can't be the only person who does that right . Maybe I'm just one of the few who does that and applies for the CP . It doesn't matter I can usually make friends with 18 year olds and with 70 year olds just as easily, just didn't want to be the only "old" person there
