SOOOO I didn’t schedule a MNSSHP for this trip as we went last year and DD slept through 90% of it. But they just announced the DVC discount and I kinda wanna add it. Crazy to rework everything this late in the game? We’d be going on our first Park day... thoughts?

Anywho, I have a question. I just snatched up a Beaches and Cream at 7:00 on 9/11. We are wanting to go for the sundaes. We have a CRT dinner booked for 4:00 and we are not going to the MNSSHP on this day. Should we make the trip to B&C or is it not worth it?

I don't think it's worth making a special trip unless you want to also want to travel over there to do other things, like watch the Boardwalk performers. I love the mini-kitchen sink (in the Mickey pants bowl), but I think the ice cream is way better at Ample Hills (on the Boardwalk). No ADR required, so you can just play it by ear and see how you feel. Where are you staying? I'm wondering how out of the way the trip to B&C is.

Today we received the extra DME luggage tags we asked for on July 25 for our trip beginning Sept 12. Still waiting for the official ones with DME letter to arrive. Still 40 long days to go, so I'm not worried. Just kind of figured since I asked for them early enough that they would come together with the official letter.

Hey September friends -
At Target tonight - bought the cutest Disney wallets on clearance for $3.00. Lightweight - cloth - Two designs - one definitely screams female. Disclaimer - we would not use these in the real world but they look perfect for the parks.

Thanks for the heads up! I stopped by Target and picked up Mickey facial masks on clearance for my friends trip in Sept. This will be perfect for our pre-MNSSHP morning at the resort

I also picked up the Huggies/wet ones/cleansing cloths with the Mickey heads all over the package. Can't remember the brand; I am at the beach - they are in the Disney box at home.

Ok guys, it's been a rough month for us: my husband lost his job, and then yesterday morning on my way to work the tire on my car blew out and I wrecked the car. Luckily no one else was involved and I wasn't hurt at all (and the car is 18 years old so doesn't take much to total it), but it's been just...stressful. We now have to get a new car ASAP so I can get to work.

But it hasn't been all bad: we have savings to buy a used car and my husband got a conditional job offer yesterday (crossing fingers it works out!), and my parents have been super helpful with the whole thing. We are very blessed.

Mostly though, I've just been so grateful for the distraction of the disboards and grateful that we've already paid for most of the trip so even if DH didn't find a new job we'd still be going to Disney! Only 41 days---can't wait!
