Hopefully everyone who was wanting free dining was able able to secure it today!
So thankful for the BB on days like today lol.

I lucked out and happened to wake up at 5am when it dropped so I booked within 15 minutes. I kept doing the math to see if our RO discount through a TA was better, but FD at Pop and upgrading to DDP ended up being about $50 cheaper when I ran the numbers. And that was with me calculating the cost of each meal. Now if DH wants a steak instead of a burger he can order it and not feel guilty.
We kept the RO discount for BC for the last 5 nights of our stay though where we'll pay OOP. I couldn't make those numbers work no matter how hard I tried.

Good for you for doing the math and making sure you're getting the best deal
Many times FD isn't always the best discount for some people (especially at deluxe resorts) but glad you were able to get the RO discount applied to it.

It actually seems to be going a lot more smooth this year than years past

We will be at POP Sept. 4th -12th. Modified my reservation to FD this morning, so excited!

I'm trying not to get too anxious this far out, but I'm already having some hurricane fears. We have never travelled to WDW in September before. Really my biggest fear/worry is flight cancellations due to weather. I've never had to deal with that before so I'm not sure what to expect. I don't care about rain so much, unless it effects my MNSSHP lol. I'm just going to continue to keep my fingers crossed!

Welcome! I don't think you can change your name, but you could create a new account with the name you want to use. Better to do it now when you are still new then when you have been around a while.

Added on Free Dining for myself, ended up switching to the All Star Sports, right next door. I don't mind that one bit! ADRs are DONE. Can hardly wait. Is anyone else's MDE extremely slow in updating the resort on the reservations page? I got the email confirmation that said that yes I will be at All Star Sports, but MDE keeps showing that I'm at All Star Music still. Weird. I double checked with the Disney agent and she confirmed Sports too. So....

Super happy with the saving!

Our TA was able to book FD for us. This'll be our first time going with it and going in Sept overall so we're excited! Yet we, at least I am, a little worried about if the weather will hold up.

I do think my mom is thinking about doing the MNSSHP, since we saved some money with the FD. I was trying to convince her before but have recently laid off the subject lol. I think she was getting annoyed with my constant talk about it

Hi! The whole family- hubby & I, DD#1, SIL, DGD#2, DS, DIL, DGD#1, DGD#3, DGS, DD#2, & DD#2's SO- is visiting WDW Sept.21-30.
We are staying at POP. Our TA was able to get free dining for one room and the room discount for the rest.
I'm feeling pretty accomplished today because I found a deal on Southwest and booked our flights for the group for $2500 less than i was expecting to pay! I got the ADRs we wanted that the TA hadn't been able to get and the BBB and Pixar Playzone reservations are made!
