We are at 36 days and I had to go look at the magic band day after seeing this! I am trying not to pack anything til August! I ordered Mickey drawstring bags that just came and some different hair bows that I pick up next week. I need to find my dd11 a short sleeve pirate outfit. Getting so close!!Can't believe we are in the 30's today! 39 more days!!!! I just got all giddy when I went onto MDE and saw that we have only 7 days left to customize our magic bands!!!!
I have had my suitcase out and stuff packed for months now. Mainly just my Disney shirts that I only wear on my trips, and some other things that I won't need until then. So exciting!!!! Already did online check in. We got our Magical Express stuff back in March, so just waiting for the trip to get here!
No magical express stuff for us, hmmm. Been booked since the free dining promo came out. Maybe I should call?
I read somewhere that they come with your magic bands. But I called to get extra yellow tags and got mine about a week after calling. I haven't received the luggage tags you can keep yet.... If they still do those.
I haven't been back since magic bands so when I read luggage tags came in the package with the magic bands I assumed it meant the magical express tags also were included in the package.
We booked through a TA, not through Disney so I am not sure if it makes a difference as to how early they are sent out. 6 months in advance was pretty early! Lol I think you still have time, I wouldn't worry yet.
Yeah they are separate. The magical express tags are the yellow tags to tag your luggage if you plan to let them handle your bags. The luggage tags that come with the magic bands are just those fun tags to put your name and phone number on and attach, and they are color coordinated with the color magic band you chose.
It's not a bad thing to finish up one trips itinerary and then hop right into another one. Once we get our Nov. trip figured out we'll start our Jan 2017 planning (minus our ADR's which are already booked).
