***The official September, 2016 Thread !!!***

I am able to combine MNSSHP and F&W during the trip (as long as the dates are correct for the party). This gives us all an event to look forward too. Not so sure my 5 y/o will care for food tastings in Epcot lol

That's our plan as well. The one and only time we got to do MNSSHP before, it was pouring down rain. It was not a fun time....but we did MVMCP and had a blast so I'm up for giving it another shot!

Add another person to September. I'll be there from Sept. 7 - 14 staying at Pop and celebrating my 30th trip. I'm also including trips to two more ballparks. I'm going to Miami and Tampa (Sept 5 and 6) as part of my goal to visit every MLB park.
I already have my dining setup. Now I'm just waiting for FP selections. If you're in the park look for me . I'll be the one in a KISS shirt. ;)

How many bottles of sunscreen do you think a family of 4 will need to bring for a September trip? I definitely need to lotion up my white-as-a-cloud child!

How many days are you going for? I highly recommend the spray on sunscreen, so much faster and easier to apply.

Yep i second this! Spray on is much much better and you use it more because it's easier and nice and cool

We are going for 6 days end of September. Don't the spray on sunscreens run out faster than the lotions? Maybe I should do a mix of both...

Sunscreen - I plan on bringing, at least, 4 bottles of spray just for me. I figure that should last a week.

Hey, new member here. I live near DL but the wife and I will be making the trip to World 9/22-27, with possibly adding a day on one or both sides, depending on flights. Celebrating my birthday on the 23rd and the 5 year anniversary of our first date.

Have some ADRs but not all yet. Have to make better plans this week.

We're thinking that the boat rental for the Illuminations show might be a lot of fun if we can find some people to split it with.

Definitely hoping for a couple more showings of Wishes and MSEP, but very excited about MNSSHP.

And I hope some of the hours get extended. I can pull 16 hour days at DL and the current schedule will let me get too much sleep.

16 hour days at DL are pretty easy. But the humidity at WDW will be much much worse, so keep that in mind while making your plans!

Very good point. We're typically sit-and-chill-during-the-afternoon people, anyway, but we'll definitely take that into account.

How much humidity are we speaking about right now? I went in ... April last time? Yes, April. I was fine, cause CT was cold and I was like aww yes, thank you sweet baby Jesus, so please to tell me how bad this can get. ;___;

Well the average temp in Orlando in Sept is near 90, plus the humidity at its lowest is about 60%. So hot and sticky! I live in a desert so the humidity here is around 8% in the afternoons, so 90 degrees isn't too bad.

I'm from the northeast as well and I was definitely draggin in the early September heat. I'm not made for the Florida heat/humidity combo. You can also almost count on a little rain each day too, which can be nice if it cools you down, but it could also make the stickiness feel worse!
