Why does the waiting to leave go by so slowly but the time we are there speed by so quickly

Oh and netnurse31, I hear ya loud and clear....I have said it once and I will say it again....it's a vicious cycle where you wait so long to go and the last week or so the days go by so slow that you can't stand it, but once you are down there it goes by like a blink of an eye that before you know it you are back home again waiting for the next time you "come home" and the wait goes by so slowly. It's a cruel cruel thing....but I do love it and wouldn't change it for the world .
