**the Official Project Runway Thread -TONIGHT!!!!***

I'm watching for the second time - WHICH judge said she doesn't believe (or feel, or think - it's not recorded, so I can't play back for the exact wording) that blue and orange are complementary? The guest judge/designer? Has the woman NEVER SEEN a color wheel???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

That was very interesting. I hated most of the outfits.:lmao:

The winning outfit was very cute and I was happy to hear he had a dd of his own.:)

As far as the other top 2, they were ok. The purple number was not too bad. I did not care for the grey crooked line.

So glad Jeanene went home. That romper looked like it was from KMART.

And the white toilet paper dress was HIDEOUS. That designer should have went home as well. He gave NO THOUGHT whatsoever to his model. She looked horrid in that white. I expect he will be going home soon.

The clown outfit was ugly. I know she was taking a risk along with toilet paper man, but come on. :sad2:

It was the guest judge - I can't think of her name but I know a ton of UofI fans whould disagree with her.

I loved loved loved the winning kid's outfit, but not the mom's one.
I actually liked Janeane's outfits, minus the jacket for the mom. I thought they were both kind of cute and if only judging by this epsiode I would have sent home Jonathon. Unfortunately for Janeane, she just isn't that good to keep around.
I didn't like Amy's but I'm glad she wasn't sent home, I love most of her designs, but they do all have the same look. I'm glad she went for something a little different even though it didn't work for her.
Emilio's outfits looked like an 80's Easter flashback. I thought the little girls dress was cute, but you could walk into any store and buy it in 100 different colors.
The rest of them were okay.

Loveeed the winning outfits! Second week in a row that I've completely agreed with the results.
I liked Jay's, the purple, but I thought it was a touch too dark for such a little girl.
The model's jacket of the winning couple was sensational. Just so beautifully made. They looked really cute together (the model-little girl).
I didn't like Jesse's-- like Heidi, I agree that it would have been better straight across. It looked...wrong. The coat was perfect, though.

Yeah, how often does that happen!?! :)

Couldn't you just see the winning outfits being the perfect Mother's Day picture choice? I really liked the SA on the back of the little girl's outfit. Kids love having labels on their clothes.

I did agree. but I think what saved Mila was her 2nd outfit which I feel the major part of the score should go to the first part of the Challenge. And Amy kids outfit was cute did not like the 2nd one & her kids one was way better than Mila's. Mila's kids out looked the cheapest.

I liked the winning outfits, the kids outfit was cute and I sure do wish I could wear the Mom's!

That yellow thing with the toilet paper windstorm was horrible! I understand edgey but this was over the edge into the pail!

The petal pants were different. I did not like them but I liked them more than that "KMart outfit" that Janeanne made. I think it was her time to go home, she was totally out of ideas.

I can't believe I almost missed it! I changed the channel from USA Network at 10 PM as always, but couldn't figure out WHY I didn't recognize any of the people being introduced... until I heard "housewife" :rotfl2: Yep, I'd turned on Bravo!!!!

But wait - it gets better! I switched to Lifetime... and IT'S A STUPID REPEAT!!!!

To aggravate me - you didn't know? The network has some ridiculous personal vendetta against me. They KNOW how exhausted I am. I'm too tired to even set the DVR... so I stayed up to watch. But noooooooo....

I ran across this while looking for movies to rent. I have not watched it yet, however if you are looking for something to fill the gaps and maybe get a reality check, here it is. I got the description off Netflix.

It is called The September Issue.

Director R.J. Cutler's documentary offers a rare look inside Vogue as the fashion magazine's influential editor, Anna Wintour, and creative director, Grace Coddington, produce the highly anticipated September issue. Cutler captures the demanding creative process in action for nine months, following perfectionist Wintour and stylist Coddington as they attend fashion week in Europe, endless photo shoots and intense staff meetings.

I got this from Netflix this past week. I thought it was really interesting. I really liked Grace who is one of the editors.

I would highly recommend it. :)

Well, tonight should be interesting - outfits using only materials from a hardware store? I already know what I'd make (okay, attempt ;)) and I already know I'd lose:
"Too boring"
"No imagination"
"It looks like all you did was take some ___ and attach them together" (well, yeah - that's what I did)

I guess that's why those designers are competing and I'm home making uninformed judgments :rotfl2:

Interesting... maybe 'my' item isn't available at that store. Nobody's using it.

But please - garbage bags? Been there, done that - poorly, every time. Don't they learn from earlier seasons? Don't they watch previous seasons?

I was wondering why my DVR didn't record last weeks show. There was no new show?!?!?! :confused3 Why would they not show a new show? It's not like they preemt it for the Oscar's or something.

Wrong person went this week. Jesse should have stayed at the bikini from h*ll should have gone. He totally skrewed up the challange. He didn't have enough material. The concept on paper was cute. He needed more time and more materials to excute. Part of the challange is time management.

There is no way they are basing their vote on just the outfit walking down the runway if they voted off Jesse.

I thought the winning outfit was absolutely amazing. I can't believe it was made with garbage bags and tape.

There were several outfits last night that were amazing

I agree-bikini guy should have gotten the axe-even Tim Gunn was shocked by jesse getting off :sad2:
