I would give it a few more days, if they haven't moved in a week or by the end of next week I would call. Just curious what colors did you choose? We got orange pink and grey. I still haven't received a phone call, email or bands. Mail ran this morning already. We didn't end up working on our old ones last night after all so we will probably get started tonight. I found some really pretty metallic acrylic paint at Walmart. Black for dh and purple for dd.


A little less than 2 weeks we will be making our way! So excited for DD to finally see what her surprise is

Just read on another site that the Pirates refurbishment will be shortened, and now won't be closing until June 8. Woo Hoo - looks like all major attractions will be up and running for our May 13 arrival. Magic Bands received last Thursday.

Yay! Since POC won't be closing during our stay maybe I will change my FP for that one now. I only booked that since i assumed there would be more guests than usual trying to get their ride in before it was rehabbed.

I received our bands three weeks,ago ...we leave on may 7th...also received luggage tags and huge book of coupons....yea!!

The website is back up and it let me see the tracking info, my bands are currently in TN, set to arrive next week, so I feel a bit better now. I believe we got pink and blue, I wish they'd add new colors! I'd love to try decorating mine with paint but I'm too scared of screwing it up!

Awesome! It's not too bad painting them, we used nail polish last year and even after a year of sitting on the bands the nail polish remover worked like a charm when we tried to remove it. Once dd goes to bed tonight we are going to get started painting.

Hmm, I have a ton of nail polish so maybe I will test something out on one of my old bands. Do you also do a clear topcoat? And you don't get any cracking?

I found it depends on the nail polish. The fingerprint brand from Sally's did crack on the part of the band where it snaps together but you wouldn't tell. Seemed like the thicker the polish, the better the polish held up. There are several people who have used the nail art pens you've probably seen at your local Walgreens or Walmart. The sinful colors polish from Walmart worked really well for me. And yes, you definitely want a top coat. There's actually a thread about decorating, it's nearing almost 200 pages! Temporary tattoos are another thing that others have used. I am going to use some princess tattoos I picked up a while back for her band. Awesome! I'll definitely check that thread out! I have a couple of the sinful colors so I'll have to try and see how they do on an old band first.

Woo Hoo!! 26 days to go!!! I think I have everyone added or changed! I can't believe we are actually going next month! I got my package Saturday with the luggage tags and coupons and got my magic bands today! Now to start slowly packing stuff and getting ready for the trip.

Thought I'd share our May 9-16th itinerary for DH and Me. We're 18 days out and I'm crawling out of my skin with excitement. I plan to do my Disney Target shopping trip this weekend as we have house guests the weekend prior to our trip. I may even start packing if I have time.

Sat 5.9:
Arrive at MCO at 12pm
Check into POFQ
Head straight to MK to meet up with my Dad & SM and stay until 2AM close

Sun 5.10:
EMH at AK
Lunch at Y&Y
EPCOT for strolling
Dinner at San Angel Inn
Dad & SM leave

Mon 5.11:
SLEEP IN (to recover from those 2 crazy days prior)
Relax at the pool in the AM
Head to DS via boat
Late lunch at The BOATHOUSE
Straight to HS for the night
Dinner at H&V with SW characters

Tues 5.12:
Early entry Breakfast at Tusker House
Spend the AM in AK
Mid-day POFQ break
EPCOT for the evening
Dinner at F&G kiosks
Dessert at Beaches & Cream
Drinks and shenanigans at Jellyrolls

Lunch at Sanaa (my first time exploring AKL!)
