I'm thinking about doing it only problem is you have to book thru Disney, I usually book thru AAA. but this is a good idea!! boy they think of everything!!!

Mmmm... don't get mad at me... LOL. My husband said he wants to make good use of our annual passes when we get them during our January trip... He wants to plan a THIRD trip... Woo hoo!!! So we will probably stick with our original plans of staying at Port Orleans Riverside... we can squeeze two trips at that resort for the price of one trip at The Wilderness Lodge. Will probably be taking the 3rd trip in October of 2015. First trip in January we are using our DVC points at BLT. SO. MANY. PLANS!!! LOL. Must buy a new notebook to scribble out each of my itineraries! Haha.

No problem! Maybe your hubby needs to talk to my hubby! I can only manage to squeeze a trip in every few years.

I am in for May! Assuming the 24 Hour Event happens again, I'll go Memorial Day Weekend. I am also planning on at least 1 Star Wars Weekend (but don't want to do the same weekend as 24HR - too much for 1 weekend).

So no dates and not sure about resort. Probably All Star Sports, but that's still up in the air.

Wife's open heart surgery cancelled vacation in 2014, back at it for May 4th thru 9th in 2015 at POR. Hope all goes well!

Got my first piece of mail today!

Envelope has Mr. Incredible on it. Inside was a booklet with the The Incredible family on it, booklet is close to 40 pages. Has info about the parks, Downtown Disney, water parks, Memory Maker, MagicBands, FastPass+, and a few pages on the resort we are staying at.

The last page a a good sized magnet with Dumbo on it with the dates our dining reservation opens, along with booking FastPass+, last day to customize our MagicBands, and the start date of the vacation!

Hopefully packages open up within the next month so I can add our meal plan and tickets on so I can get all this linked!

No, Disney Destinations LLC (return address). I am a DVC member, so not 100% sure if this is something everyone gets.

We are not DVC either; we got the packet for our last trip (February) and our next trip (November). It's the new norm - it has all the FPP info, dates for reservations, etc ... It's the new Mickey mail. I liked the Mickey thumb drive last year but put my dumbo magnet on my fridge & have checked it a few times (as if I don't have my ADR, FPP etc dates memorized!)

Ah...okay! Wasn't sure if it was something everyone got. Had a friend that just returned from a trip (stayed at POP) and he only got the box with the Magic Bands in it. He also did only book it 1.5 months in advance also.

I just booked our accommodation for end of April- beginning of May 2015. I was starting to think I was a crazy person for booking this far in advance!
happy I found this thread!
I am hoping the weather will be great and crowds low. We went last year over the 4th of July weekend and it was a disaster
So I am determined to make this next trip 100 times better
Will start looking for plane tickets soon
