***the official may 2013 thread***

New member here!! We're headed down May 20th-25th and it will be our first vacation just the three of us (me, dh, and dd who will be 4). I can't wait!!

I've got you added!

Our Feb. trip just got moved to May. We will be at Beach Club from May 9-18!

I've got you added too!

Must say farewell to all my May peeps. We just had to move up to April due to DH work issue.

I must say that I hate to see you go but, hey you get to got earlier!!! Awesome!

Switching plans to stay at Pop instead of AoA due to the spring discount they just announced. We want to book and pay at the same time so I'm counting down the days until my bonus check hits. January 18th and this trip is official!!:cool1:

Just booked POP for 5/16-5/19!! I managed to convince DH that SWW is definitely a good reason to go back, if only for a few days. Going w/o DD, what to do?? :woohoo::yay::woohoo::yay:

Took advantage of the spring offer and ended up switching resorts! Same days (May 4-12), but now we're staying at POR instead of POFQ. POFQ only had 5% off while POR had 25%, so saving $440 was really too good to pass up.

Looking forward to it! Only 4 months to go!

This new deal is great...We were lucky to not have to switch resorts and actually saved $600!! So excited!

Good to hear many are taking advantage of spring discounts. Other threads and FB folks are doing nothing but complaining "it isn't good enough for THEM" How , when a large company says here you can spend 500-600 less on your vacation, are people still unappreciative ??:confused3

Just booked yesterday!

Beach Club for May 25th-June 2nd!

We've never been in May...we're always there either Spring Break week or Thanksgiving week so this is something different for us.

Can you change our dates from the first page?

We are now May 15-20 at the Beach Club!! Took advantage of the spring promo too!:goodvibes

It was a $1,300 savings for us. I booked on Wednesday and logged in yesterday to see that the discounts had been released to the public and were available online and the resort/ticket package was $1,300 LESS!:) So I booked it immediately and called Disney and cancelled the original booking. Was on hold for 48 minutes but it was worth it and we're very happy about the discount!

I have posted this question on the restaurants forum but have not had much joy yet...
Has anyone got reservations for CRT around 16th May? We have a dinner reservation on that date and over the xmas period I received two voicemails from someone at Disney requesting I call them back about my reservation. I didnt take down the number. I called the reservations line but the operator could not see any notes on my bookings and had no idea what someone was calling about?
Someone has posted that the restaurant is closed until the 17th. Is anyone else able to help? It's DD's 4th birthday that day so was really hoping to do CRT after our reservation at BBB.

Kia ora (Hi!) from New Zealand - Just joined the DL May 2013 thread so figured I'd better find the WDW one too!:wave2:

We are doing a two-parks trip (with a couple of other stops thrown in as well - see my ticker) - When you have to fly 16 hours from New Zealand just to get as far as LA, your DIS holidays tend to be a little longer than most....

First time to WDW for our boys, and first time for DH and me in about 20 years! - and that was just a couple of day trips during our 3 month backpacking trip around the US, so we are virtual WDW "virgins" - eeek...

Because of the cost of our mega-trip we are staying off-site (Windsor Hills) We would be at each others throats in one room for 11 days, and the budget just won't stretch to multiple rooms on-site, sadly.

Once I got over the disappointment of not being on-site, I have been consoling myself with booking our ADRs (Ohana and BOG - of course!), - would be keen to hear from any regulars to Orlando about off-site dining recommendations too?

We have fond memories of Bob Evans from our big 3-month US trip many years ago, but we really love good old US diners, so if anyone knows a good local one in Orlando, let's hear it!

We just booked May 26- June 2 at at the Beach Club and are so excited!

We've never been there for Memorial Day before, but we have for New Year's and Easter previous years, so I'm not scared of the crowds.

We are staying at all star music, I forgot to post this earlier. Paid off the vacation today, now I have to start my packing lists.

We'll be there May 16-21 at ASMu!! This is our shorter trip. We will be there for 8 days in April. So excited for Star Wars Weekend!!

Count us in. We'll be there May 19-25 at Coronado Springs Resort. Took advantage of the discount on the 3rd and saved over $500.
