***The Official March 2016 Thread!***

Just got our trip booked for Feb. 26- March 6th. First time to be going at this time of year. We've never been to the Flower and Garden Festival. Anyone have any "must do's" that they'd like to share?

I'm curious about flower and garden as well, haven't spent much time researching it yet, that's on my to do list while waiting to get to 60 days for fast passes. I want to go to Disney now! Lol

Make sure you go to Epcot! That's where the Flower & Garden stuff is. They will have a map with the locations of the topiaries. And they're fantastic!!!

Last time, they had a butterfly garden that my kids just LOVED. And they also have food booths in World Showcase with tasty items to try.

March will mark our 5th year in a row of visiting during the Flower & Garden festival!

How exciting that you get to go every year! I've been looking forward to this trip, but am also already in planning mode for Food & Wine in 2017! I'm an addict.....Disney is my happy place!

The Flower & Garden Festival is the biggest decision maker for us choosing our kids Spring Break in March over other times of the year to go. We absolutely love Epcot and always plan on a day of eating, drinking and shopping around the World Showcase and the F&G Fest just adds more fun to that. You have all of the beautiful topiaries and flowers to look at and I love that they added the food booths. They usually have a themed playground set up as well for the kiddos.

Just booked for a Spring trip with my nephew! We'll be there March 27 - April 1!!!:dogdance::yoda:pixiedust::car::clown:pirate::moped:paw::mickeybar:teleport::yay::hourglass

Hi everyone

Please count us in. My youngest DD is attending college in Florida. We are visiting during her Spring Break staying at POFQ for 9 days from 3/18 to 3/26.

Just booked march 7-14. Super excited!! We weren't planning on returning until nov 2016, but I can't wait that long!

This number is way too big still: 124 days until our Disney Reboot 2016 trip!

Dates are 3/5 to 3/12!

We'll be there in March!! (3/21 - 3/28)

This trip is a little bit of a mess - originally we had booked a DCL cruise, and were going to do just a couple of park days afterwards. So I booked a DVC rental for 2 nights at OKW. We ended up canceling the cruise and deciding to do just the parks instead. But we also had to fit in a Universal trip that we had promised the kids at Christmas (and those dates were no longer going to work either). DH has just started a new job and his vacation time will still be limited...

So, what we ended up with is 3 nights at Pop (just the kids and I), then 2 nights at Universal once DH joins us, then the 2 nights at OKW that we had already booked (and can't change). I generally HATE split stays, and this one will be more chaotic than most. But hey, I'm going to WDW so I can't complain too much, lol! We'll probably end up doing one day at each of the 4 parks, and the 5th day will either be a water park or 2nd MK day, depending on what we are in the mood for.

I'm trying to cut down on the number of ADRs for this trip - it's not been unusual in the past for us to do 3/day. For the first part or the week when it's just the kids and I, the only thing I have booked is the Wishes dessert party. DH hates all things dessert-ish, so I figure this is our one chance to do it ;) And the kids will probably be more tolerant to CS meals than DH is, so we're going to try getting by on that. Once he joins us, I have ADRs for Olivia's, Garden Grill, Marrakesh, and Yak&Yeti.

I really need to research the Universal part of the trip more - I haven't been there in 15 years and feel pretty clueless! Of course for our Disney days, I already have touring plans made including what FPs I want and when, lol!

Count me in! March 8th - 13th at CBR with DH, DD(6), and my parents. First time staying at CBR and first time at Flower & Garden Festival. I've heard you can use dining plan snack credits for the food kiosks, is that correct?

Just booked for Mach 26 - April 02 and so excited. Yes its Easter weekend but that is when we can go. Was able to make an ADR at BOG for our Easter Dinner. Also got Coral Reef, Via Napoli,Narcoossee's, Mama Melrose's Ristorant w/Fantasmic (thought this would be a good idea being Easter week). So not a bad start I will try to complete the ADR's this weekend. Looking at crowd calendars to determine what parks on what days. We are so excited and I so love the planning.

That's great :woohoo:

I was able to book my flight down using SW points :dance3:
Still watchng the flights for coming home too high right now :sad2:
Yeah, the night we booked our flights both flights were really good prices so we booked both.....I'm so excited!

We haven't booked our flights yet. They want $1100 for 2 adults & a child from Richmond, Virginia and that's too rich for my blood! We're planning on driving unless the price goes down to around $700 - $800. Plus if we drive, we can easily add in a few days at Universal! :yay:
