It is time to start counting down together! :goodvibes

My family (Me, DH, DS13, DS10) has been planning our return to the World since our fantastic trip in March of 2010. The kids are excited, the trip is booked and hoped to be paid off in January!

:cool1:POLY March 10-17th! :cool1:

Where are you staying and when?popcorn::

We'll be there March 2nd through 10th!!!!!

It's our oldest daughter's spring break from college (our other three children are homeschooled).

We'll be staying at Windsor Hills!!! Already reserved our townhouse and a hotel for the trip down. My husband went to college in St. Augustine, so we're going to stop there on the way down and spend the night of March 2nd there and half the day of March 3rd. He can't wait to show the kids around his "old haunts"!

Can't wait!!

We must have one of the Later spring Breaks because we'll be there the 24th-31st...not sure if that is good/bad in regards to crowds? But we're 'On the March' as well!!

I am beyond excited to be taking our first Disney vacation with our DD!
She'll be just under 3, so she'll get into the parks for free!
We'll be there the last week of March, so I am sure it will be crowded, but we are all early risers, so hopefully we can all be there for the rope drop each morning!

hsmamainva- Hello! You are going during a less crowded time. Lucky you!!!:goodvibes I have never stayed at Windsor Hills but have heard really good things. Welcome to the countdown!

lisacat00MN- Welcome to the countdown! Generally all of spring break season is really busy but if you follow the tips on the DIS boards you can get around that easily. The one time that gets a little crazy and harder to handle is the week of Easter break as most people get their spring break over that time. Lucky for us this year its April 24th so we're safe :woohoo:

Jenzerbenz- How wonderful for you to get to experience Disney as a Mommy for the first time! I can assure that you are in for a treat. Its like doing Disney for the first time shen you go with a child. :wizard: Where will you be staying?

Figment - Thank you very much! We are super excited, and right now working on how to tell the girls. I'll keep you posted on how that goes! Good to know it's going to be a managable busy, that makes me feel a little better! We originally wanted October, but that didn't work - so March it is.

There will be 11 of us going to WDW March 10th-18th. We're renting a house through AllStar vacation homes. My two DD are both graduating that spring--one from college and one from high school. Also, it will be the first trip for my DIL, SIL, and 3 granddaughters!! We are sooooo excited--we've only read great things about AllStar rentals. We're extremely lucky that we can purchase our park passes through Shades of Green--that definitely makes this trip manageable. :yay:

:goodvibesTotallytigger- Welcome aboard! Doesn't it feel so good to be counting down to a trip back to the World? It's also so much fun to bring friends and family who have nevr gone before. How exciting!

Congrats on your upcoming trip and the graduations!! :cheer2:

Our two oldest are graduating in the spring, too! Our daughter from the community college (she's transferring to a 4-year in-state school to complete her BA degree next fall) and our son from high school!

We are booked 5 nights at POR, March 24-29. :cool1: We are so excited to be going back!!!!! Just took our 1st ever trip a few weeks ago in June and decided we had to back ASAP! :woohoo:

Welcome to the countdown mrssmith06 :)

The first trip to Disney is unforgettable, but nothing is more enjoyable and exciting than the 2nd trip because now you know exactly what you're counting down for ;)

We are going down March 18th-24th for our disney wedding :bride: I feel like I've been counting down forever!! Can we just fast forward to March already?! :yay:

Having grown up near WDW I got to go all the time.

But I just booked out first family trip. My wife and 3 kids have NEVER been to WDW.

We are coming March 10-17, 2012 and staying at the All star Movie Resort.

We cant wait! My kids are 15, 13 and 1 and were bouncing off the walls when I showed them the reservation cofirmation. LOL....:yay:

Hello! I have booked my WDW vacation for March 23 to the 28 to celebrate, HOPEFULLY, my graduation! I am getting my bachelors in animation, and what better way than going to the MOTHERLAND of the business!?

It'll be me and and my mom, it'll be her first visit; I went once a LONG time ago and only to MK and AK years later, and since I didn't really enjoy my visit because of who I was with, I consider THIS my first visit! We'll be staying in POFQ and while I'm looking forward to this SO VERY much -and so is my mom- I don't like staring at the countdown the WDW website has up. It just tells me how many days I have left to finish all the things so I can graduate and the nerves crank up, so I have a horrible case of mixed emotions! :rotfl:

Also, can anyone tell me how crowded these times are? I know this is the second peak season at WDW, but just wanted to read from peoples experience :0

Great news!!! Bro-in-law and Sis-in-law and their 2 kids just booked to go with us today!

They are staying at the ASM as well.:woohoo:

Can anyone tell me what a "Grand Gathering" is? I have no clue but keep hearing the term for groups of 8 or more.

End of spring break time so it will be busy. I dont know how the economy has effected crowds but I think you should be ok.

Welcome to DisneyLizzyLou and congratulations on the upcoming wedding!

Welcome Dixie06 :) I have never stayed at the AKL but I've eaten there and it looks BEAUTIFUL. You are going to have so much fun!

Texascop Welcome to the countdown! I also grew up in Disney and took my boys ages 9 and 11 at the time for there first visit 2 years ago. We all had the best vacation and now they are 11 and 14 and cannot wait to return :) As for the grand gathering, I have heard the term but am not sure what that entails. If I were you I'd call disney and ask what all the perks are with bringing so many people :)

PCCSakura welcome! :goodvibes To answer your question the crowds are there but absolutely managable if you use the crowd calender on touringplans.com and arrive when the parks open. We went for a week mid-march 2 years ago and used a touring plan and never waited for longer than 20 minutes for anything except TSM and Soarin.
