The Official LOTR Fan Club!!!

I love the cast commentaries on the DVD's! The hobbits are hilarious on FotR!

Viggo is definitely pretty boring. On all of the interviews on the DVD's, he sounds really tired and uninterested. I guess his voice is just really quiet.

Too funny you said that, Becca... I thought the same thing! I have a friend who is in love with Viggo and loves that voice of his!

HC, I also thought that Ian Holmes sounded very bored :o

I might have to watch a few of these again on my way to Chicago in a month. I have been re-reading the books again though.

Have you all seen Foxtrot for today? I think the guy who does it is definitely a LotR fan.::yes::

My best friend and I are going with my family to Virginia over spring break, and we'll have time to watch lots of movies in the car...I want LotR and PotC of course, but she said she's kind of tired of them right now, lol.

I think I'll also tackle The Silmarillion over spring break...I've been trying to read it for a month, but I haven't had time, so I've only gotten through about the first chapter.

...........................................BALROG!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I started TTT EE commerty and some of the stories suprised even me

CS: One story I found actually quite sad was that for the longest time Christoper Lee wanted to play Gandalf....what a gentleman that he played his part so well, but he really wanted to be the good guy for once!

I love Viggo in character...I just think it is in life that he has a hard time playing (just from the interviews I've seen him in) I did see him in Witness the other night and he was so cute when he was younger....buthas aged very well as an Aragorn! lol

NS: I can totally relate to the friends getting bored....No one around here wants to watch them but me...not the kids, or hubby... That's why I have to come here! lol

I never knew Viggo had really broken 2 toes when kicking the Orc helmet

I was just looking for this to reply & bump it on up!!!

BALROG!!! :rotfl:
I love it

I swear, you all should come to my house... my husband likes watching them almost as much as I do and between those two DVDs and Pirates... my DVD player gets quite a workout ;)

OMG, I was laughing so hard at the bit about Viggo and the toes. Just how they were saying how they did it one last time, and his scream sounded like he was in such agony... well duh, he was!!

That one and the Orlando being head butted in the pub by the one "stunt" guy was hilarious! They sounded like they had a blast filming!

i've never watched the commentaries. r they only on the EE?

nsyncradier that comic was hilarious! ahah balrog!

:teeth:

emily, the commentaries are only on the extended editions....the hobbits are hilarious on fotr...i love when theyre talking about how billy screamed cuz he didnt know the rocket was really going to go off and how he got a huge splinter from jumping on buckleberry ferry

:p

LOL, you all make me want to watch the commentaries again!!!

I went to the symphony for LOTR music and it was fabulous!!!! Mr. Shore is such a humble acting man and the music was great. The mezzo soprano they had singing most of the parts in the 2nd and 3rd movie, was wonderful!!!! If you can go, I would!!! I'd go again if I could :teeth:

lol helenabear glad you had a good time!!! thats so cool that you got the opportunity to see mr. shore!!! i must say im jealous...:o
