Filming began on SEED OF CHUCKY yesterday in Romania, with the franchise's screenwriter, Don Mancini, directing the fifth CHUCKY romp from his script.

The latest additions to the cast place an interesting twist on the procedings. Rapper-turned-actor Redman has landed a part as a film director while real-life movie director John Waters (HAIRSPRAY) has been cast as a sleazy tabloid photographer. Redman and Waters join Brad Dourif, Jennifer Tilly and LORD OF THE RINGS star Billy Boyd as the family of twisted killer dolls. Boyd is playing Chucky and Tiffany's adopted son, Glen.

Oh speaking of new movies... I was home today and caught Oprah on TV... they had Brad Pitt, Eric Bana and Orlando Bloom (via a recording while he filming for Kingdom of Heaven) all talking about Troy!!! Orlando looks so hot in that costume!!! Loved it!

By the way, Christopher McDonald won the celebrity race. He was VERY excited!

Sean Astin came in 4th, just ahead of Frankie Muniz. Not too bad for his first time, especially on a wet track!
