QUESTION...
Are we for sure switching to in-person exchanges? I really am all for it, but jsut realized that won't work for me in Aug! I'm only there 2 nights and won't have any opportunity for an in-person hand off.

I think person to person drops are ideal, however not always possible. I just say use your own discretion. Personally, I would prefer person to person, just 'cause I like DIS meets, especially when Lapu's are involved. But if it's just not possible, let's say anything over 5 days should really be mailed. So say you have a croc and the next person doesn't get there for 5+ more days. Take the croc home with you and mail it back. I think this will help with the lost crocs.

DM, let me know what's happening - if it's to be in-person only, just take me out of rotation, I won't mind!

Floyd has returned to standby status. Since a replacement was quickly found for Fritzie. Some day soon Floyd will get his time to shine.

Well, I was supposed to get Felicia from tnmomof4 today, but I never saw her at our meeting place, and I waited for 45 minutes I also checked with the front desk of my resort, but felicia wasn't there either. I'm not sure when her and her family are arriving back home from vacation, but I hope everything is ok. I'm still going to the Grand Croc Reunion, but it looks like there will only be 3 crocs now.

I think Francisco is the only DL croc we have right now. He is getting pretty excited about his first visit to DL! I suspect he will get mailed a lot since there just don't seem to be as many people going to DL.

Disney Dude, have you had any luck getting in touch with tnmomof4? Anyone have a phone number for her? I think that's the key - we need to make sure we've got some way of contacting our exchangees, just in case. You never know when something might come up and prevent a meeting.

Oh man! That really blows! The only info I have is her trip dates, which say 7/1 was her last day. I don't know her resort.

I'm going with V on this one, I think cell phone numbers are key. We'll just have to wait and see if tnmomof4 shows up back on the boards and hopefully she can give us a heads up on Felicia's whereabouts. So sorry DIsney Dude!

I had Felicia right before tnmomof4 (Sarah). I sent her from the front desk of POR and they assured me that it would get there safely. Sarah and I played phone tag a bunch of times to try to meet up but we never were able. I am hoping she received Felicia. I feel bad now... Today is the day she is returning from her vacation so I don't know if I can get a hold of her via cell but I will try....

Okay, I just got off the phone with Sarah and All Star Music is trying to find Felicia. I gave very specific info about where it was to be delivered - even wrote it right on the bag. Sarah said they have been looking for Felicia for ½ hour now. I feel bad that it's cutting into Sarah's last day of vacation.
