I will...eventually. I still haven't even unpacked! . I was waiting to get all my pics onto my computer which took me almost half a day to do. I had brought my cousin's laptop and stored the pics there to keep my camera empty each day. It took awhile to transfer them to my computer.


In the Golden Girls I love Rose and her St. Olaf stories. Sophia was awesome though. Blanche reminds me of my mom LOL!

I have to be honest - speaking only for myself, I wouldn't be comfortable having my address and phone number out there for anyone and everyone to access.

I have to agree. Perhaps we could pick a "home" address at Disney? No, I guess that wouldn't really work either would it? Hmmmm, I'm thinking! There must be something we could do. If I think of something else, I'll post it here.

One more thought....I was thinking that if we didn't directly hand him/her off to another Dis'er then we could put them in a locker then pass the key along but that would put us right back to where we already are wouldn't it?? Humph!! I don't know.

That's so funny - I was thinking along the same line - "If found, please deliver to my home at the Polynesian" or something. But it was the Disney folks who made this mess in the first place... do we want to trust THEM with a lost Croc?!

The 2 aldies at POR I delat with about it were very kind and loved the idea of the CROC exchange so I know those 2 ladies were doing their best. Will keep hope alive and keep calling.

Still no word.. ..that why I don't understand what happened to freddie because when I gave him to the lady at the desk as I was stapling the bag I was explaining what we were doing and she thought it was great so I really thought he would arrive to you all safe and sound...

But the lgmh has your name in the middle , POR on one ear and your check in date in the other, stapled on the front of the bag with a white twine tying the handles together

So far no other takers for Francisco (aka Franky). He says he isn't sure about a daycare. While he loves to have fun he thinks lots of little kids might be too much fun . There was someone else on the board from near DL who volunteered to hold on to him between times, too. If that was you, please let us know!!!!! I am trying to find a green bag and an appropriate journal for him. I didn't know about the journals, what info do we put into them?? Hmm, actually I have something that would be perfect if it were Francesca instead of Francisco! A pink Princesses Diary complete with a small carrying bag with pink feather boa at the top and a pen on a carbiner, also with the feather boa on it. Not too sure how appropriate that is for a boy croc, though .

Isn't there a Focker Watch Member who is a Disney CM? Maybe they would be willing to have where they work at the home you deliver the croc to if he/she is lost and wandering??

I mentioned in the beginning, maybe we should put a tag that says, if lost take to the Polynesian lost and found. Maybe we should do that?
Or, does someone have a PO Box or business address they wouldn't mind tagging on the crocs? Any name could be used on the address. I have a friend who used to send me mail addressed to Diva, or superstar, or whatever - it always got to me.

I rather liked the locker idea, but how to solve the key issue???

What if the key was "hidden" somewhere at Disney, within proximity of the next caretaker's stay, or if this caretaker was staying offsite (why ?!?!?!?), then another onsite location could be chosen.

In the unlikely event, there was a gap between caretakers, for whatever reason, then the person who hid the key could be contacted for the map to its location.

Admittedly, I know NOTHING about the locker process at Disney. But what would somone do if they lost their key? Are the lockers "tied" to an individual's reservation or are they similar to other public lockers.....first come/first served. A bit of research on the "lost key" process ought to be able to provide a means of croc retrieval in the event of a lost key.

Hmmmm..... There really should be some ID on the little crocs, but I agree, I wouldn't want everyone calling me (and even if you put your own LGMH on it while you were croc-sitting, there is still a gap).

Could we at least put the disboards website and thread link? Don't know if someone would take the time to look......a CM might and I would be curious at best! We could get new members.......or croc stalkers.

What about an email address? A hotmail or yahoo address could be setup for fockercroc or something like that and then the tag could ask the finder to please contact that email address ????
