The Official Lime Lovin' Croc Exchange

So here I am in WDW and I'm still waiting for my little croc Fauna :sad1: .
I was supposed to get her on the 15th when I arrived, and here I am 2 days later with no croc. I PM'd my exchange person but haven't heard anything back.

Septdwn where are u?

Hello. I am new to all of this. Is this only for Disneyworld? My mom and I will be at Disneyland on Saturday, December 1st.

:welcome:

If you go back to the main Disboards.com page and scroll down on the list of discussion forums, you will find a forum for Disneyland. This particular forum is about WDW in Florida.

Enjoy your trip!

I guess it should go without saying that if you sign up to keep one of the crocs you need to be committed ( ) to following through with the exchange. What a let down for the next person in line if you don't :sad2:

Lurvv! Fauna should be on her way to you. Septdwn went to your hotel and the CM told her that they didn't have a reservation for your name. She didn't feel comfortable leaving Fauna. I think Sept was gonna overnight her addressed to the name you PM'd her.

Oh good. I'm so glad to hear it wasn't somebody just forgetting to make the exchange. Now watch me go and do it in August  Y'all would have to pelt me with rotten tomatoes if I did (no not really  )

I have updated the list again. If you are not present, raise your hand.

zdad and others:
Check out the college forum--they have a neat thread on VT and posted the Professor's words from yesterday. (sorry my computer linking skills are lacking)

I still have to post Fritzie's adventures--I am working on the one with him in a wine barrel in Germany. For some reason, it's a little blurry.....;)

for everyone affected by the recent shooting events, I am thinking of you all. It is a bad state of affairs these days. I often think I should even pull my 6 year old out of school and homeschool. It is so sad that so many people lose their lives due to these type events.

That's too funny! would love to hear the mall story... :flower3:

DH and I were at the mall and we were arguing over something - only I can't remember what. People were staring, so I said to him, "If you don't quit arguing with me, I'm leaving." DH said something else. I just happened to have the car keys. So I turned around, walked to the car, and went home. He didn't have any money on him and we lived about 4 miles away from the mall. This was in July and we lived in Columbia, SC where it is VERY HOT AND HUMID! I used to have a boss who said that the closest thing to hell is Columbia because it is so hot. The mall is off I26 and our apartment was also off I26, down a few exits.

A few hours later, DH walks in the door. He walked the entire way, using the access road that runs by the Interstate. He told me he kept wishing he would fall over from heat exhaustion so I would feel bad. Then he said, "Let's go back to the mall." :lmao: And we did. Can you believe he actually trusted me with the keys again?

I have another mall story - anyone want to hear it?

I wanna hear it!!!

Ladies - my dh is a shopper! This can be good, but can also be bad for the budget! This is when we lived in Greenville, SC. We went shopping and DH was all happy in the men's dept and I looked at clothes with him, told him what I liked and what I didn't like. We got to the women's and he was acting kind of sulky - didn't want to look at women's clothes, didn't want to participate and tell me what he liked or didn't like. So I say to him, "You need to be more active in my shopping. If I'm looking at something and ask your opinion, I want an answer that is better than 'yeah, that's fine.'" That didn't work - he wouldn't at least pretend to enjoy shopping in the women's section. So I told him we were leaving, I was through shopping. We got in the car and we argued about how I try to look at the men's clothes with him and offer suggestions and I would like him to do the same for me. He was driving. So while we were arguing, he drove to another mall. I refused to get out of the car and he started begging, "Please, let's go in and shop. I promise I'll be interested in your shopping." I kept saying no, but he kept begging. So we shopped and I've never had that problem again.:rotfl2:

These are true stories. Our friend's always tell us we could write a comedy book just on our relationship and the crazy things that happens to dh. He has a hilarious story about how he was almost molested at work.

I can't tell the work story - DH is so much better at that one, but everyone loves it. We'll have to have a dismeet.

I think it would be fun to do a thread with him. I asked him about doing a blog together once, but he wouldn't go for it.

:rotfl2: DH's are like pets they need some training :rotfl2:

This weekend I told DH I would like us to take tennis lessons again. He said it didn't sound like fun. Yesterday I told him we needed to find some fun activities together and mentioned the tennis again. He said it didn't sound like fun and married couples don't play tennis together. I reminded him of our friend's Peter and Melissa. They play tennis together, practically every day (they don't have kids.) DH said, "Yeah, well if Peter weren't English, he'd be gay."
That cracked me up.
